With pleasure, we invite you to the XI International Folklore Festival in Budapest, taking place from 28–30 November 2025 in Budapest, Hungary.

Known as the “Pearl of the Danube,” Budapest is one of Europe’s most stunning capital cities—famous for its historic architecture, majestic thermal baths, and iconic landmarks such as the Chain Bridge, Fisherman’s Bastion, Buda Castle, and the Hungarian Parliament Building.

Join us for a cultural celebration in this magical city, where tradition and elegance meet.

 Festival Highlights

• Open to folk ensembles from Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Ukraine, Greece, Turkey, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovenia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, and Malaysia
• Three-day cultural celebration in Budapest
• Non-competitive performances
• Optional excursions around Hungary’s cultural landmarks

 Participation Info

General Rules & Requirements

• Eligible participants: Folk ensembles from the listed countries
• Performance details to be confirmed with the organizer

• Groups must provide:
• CV
• Group photos
• National flag

• Groups must arrange their own transportation
• Application Deadline: 2 October 2025

 Participation Fee

• €115 per person – Accommodation at EAST City Hotel Budapest*
• €125 per person – Accommodation at B&B Hotel Budapest City*

Additional Costs:

• Double room surcharge: €5 per person per night
• Additional day rate: from €45 (depends on hotel and services)

Included by Organizers:

• Hotel accommodation with breakfast (1/3 and 1/4 rooms, 2 beds)
• One free participation for every 25 members
• Diplomas, plaques, and letter of invitation
• All organizational costs
