ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

With pleasure we INVITE folklore ensembles, choral groups, orchestras, brass bands, modern dance groups, and majorette teams (children and youth) to participate in the VII. Adriatic Dance and Music Festival.

The goal of the festival is to promote international cultural exchange through music and dance, bringing together diverse traditions on a shared stage in the beautiful Adriatic setting of Senj. With its coastal charm, medieval heritage, and cultural vibrancy, Senj provides the perfect backdrop for a summer celebration of the arts.

Senj, positioned between the Velebit mountains and the Adriatic Sea, is famed for its Nehaj Fortress, charming old town, and traditional festivals. Participants will experience both scenic beauty and local culture.

FESTIVAL PROGRAM

Day 1 – July 3, 2025

• 14:00 – Arrival and hotel check-in
• 18:30 – 19:30 – Dinner at the hotel
• 20:30 – Organizational meeting with directors and choreographers

Day 2 – July 4, 2025

• 07:00 – 10:00 – Breakfast
• 10:00 – 14:00 – Optional tour: Rijeka Cultural City Tour
• 16:00 – Open-air performance in Senj
• 19:00 – 20:00 – Dinner at the hotel

Day 3 – July 5, 2025

• 07:00 – 10:00 – Breakfast
• 10:00 – 16:00 – Optional excursions:

1. Boat Trip to Vrbnik (wine tasting and sightseeing)
2. Cave Biserujka & Island Krk Tour

• 19:00 – 20:00 – Dinner at the hotel

Day 4 – July 6, 2025

• 07:00 – 10:00 – Breakfast
• 12:00 – Departure of groups

Organizers reserve the right to modify the program if necessary.

PARTICIPATION RULES

• Open to all folk dance groups, orchestras, majorette teams, choirs, and modern dance groups worldwide
• No age limits
• No limit on number of participants (spots are limited)
• Each group must prepare at least 2 performances (8–15 minutes each, USB or live music)
• Groups must bring their national flag and a symbolic gift

Required documents:

• Completed application form
• Group description (short CV)
• 3 high-quality group photos
• Participant list with full details (by May 5, 2025)

Transport to and from Senj must be arranged by the groups.

PARTICIPATION FEE

Accommodation Options:
Half Board (2 meals per day)

• €165 – Hotel Uvala Scott, Kraljevica (Comfort) – triple rooms, limited doubles
• €185 – Hotel Uvala Scott (Standard, A/C) – triple rooms, doubles & singles available
• €185 – Hotel Adriatic, Omisalj – triple rooms
• €189 – Boarding House Lucija, Kostrena – double rooms
• €195 – Hotel Art, Senj – double & triple rooms

Supplements:

• Double room: +€15 per person/day
• Single room: +€30 per day
• Extra day: Available on request (price based on accommodation)
• 1 free group leader for every 25 participants (except Lucija)

 PAYMENT TERMS

• 10% guarantee fee to confirm participation (deducted from total)
• 20% advance accommodation payment to reserve hotel
• Remaining balance to be paid before or upon arrival (with approval)
