INVITATION

We invite you to take part in the International Festival-Competition in Sopot, Poland, which will be held from May 3 to 6, 2026, at the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Sopot.

This event is organized in cooperation with the Cultural Diplomacy Foundation and the Active Integration Foundation (Poland). The festival is part of a renowned series of artistic events held across Europe since 2014. Its goal is to promote international cultural exchange and provide a platform for both amateur and professional groups to showcase their talent and creativity in one of Poland’s most beautiful seaside cities.


 PARTICIPATION INFORMATION

The festival welcomes dance groups, theater groups, folklore ensembles, fashion theaters, vocal and choral groups, instrumental ensembles, and soloists.

Categories include choreography (folk, stylized, classical, contemporary, jazz, street dance, ballroom, belly dance, and others), vocal and instrumental performances (soloists, choirs, ensembles), folklore ensembles and ritual theaters, theater groups, and fashion or art performances.

Soloists, duets, and trios may perform up to 4 minutes. Small groups of 4–10 participants may perform up to 6 minutes, and large groups of 11 or more may perform up to 9 minutes. Participants can enter multiple categories with separate applications and participation fees.

The festival includes age divisions: Mini Kids (4–6 years), Kids (7–9), Children (10–13), Juniors (14–17), Adults (18+), Seniors (50+), and Mixed groups.

The submission deadline is March 30, 2026.

Awards include the Grand Prix Winner trophy, diploma, commemorative gift, and medals. First through fourth place winners will receive medals, diplomas, and trophies. Debut diplomas will be given to Mini Kids participants. Special Jury Awards, including a Small Grand Prix, will also be presented. All teachers, choreographers, and group leaders will receive recognition certificates, and participants will receive festival souvenirs such as notebooks and badges.


 ACCOMMODATION

The participation fee per person is 18 EUR for groups of 11 or more participants, 20 EUR for groups of 4–10 participants, 30 EUR for duets and trios, and 40 EUR for soloists.

For participation in an additional category, the cost is 8 EUR per person for groups of 11 or more, 10 EUR per person for groups of 4–10, and 15 EUR per person for soloists, duets, or trios.

Accommodation for 4 days and 3 nights with half board is 168 EUR per person. This includes accommodation in a hostel in 4-person rooms, breakfast and dinner, guided tours of Gdańsk and Sopot for groups of 25 or more, and one free group leader for every 15 paying participants.

The participation fee does not include the festival entry fees, optional excursions such as Malbork Castle, museum tickets, transportation, or personal expenses. Transfers to Sopot are available for an additional charge.

An advance payment of 30% is required and will be deducted from the total cost. The remaining balance is due by April 10, 2026. All bank fees are covered by the sender.

Upgraded hotel accommodation is available upon request. Groups are required to attend all scheduled festival events. Organizers will provide assistance with transport, meals, and excursions.


 PROGRAM

Day 1 – Arrival in Gdańsk. Check-in at the hostel in 4-person rooms. Optional hotel upgrade available. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 – Breakfast followed by a guided tour of Gdańsk including the Old Town, Neptune Fountain, St. Mary’s Basilica, and Long Market Square. Optional visit to Oliwa Zoo. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 – Breakfast. Excursion to the Baltic Sea for a beach walk and relaxation. Optional bus tour to Malbork Castle. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 – Breakfast and check-out. Departure to Sopot for stage rehearsals and competition performances. Festival opening and award ceremony followed by a guided walking tour of Sopot. Departure home.

Evaluation will be conducted by an international jury composed of cultural and artistic experts. Scoring will follow a 10-point system according to dance technique, vocal quality, choreography, stage presence, and artistic impression. All jury decisions are final.


 EXCURSIONS

Optional excursions are available for an additional cost, including a visit to Oliwa Zoo and a bus tour to Malbork Castle.
