INVITATION
The World Cup of Folklore™ - Jesolo 2025 is part of the Folklore Championship System of the European Association of Folklore Festivals (EAFF). This prestigious event is a modern platform promoting and preserving cultural heritage while fostering artistic excellence and friendly competition. Hosted in Jesolo, a renowned coastal town near Venice, the festival offers participants a unique experience of art, culture, and hospitality.

- Open to groups and soloists with prestigious awards from other festivals.

Preliminary Program
- 23 May 2025: Arrival, hotel check-in, technical conference with group leaders, and dinner.
- 24 May 2025: Free morning, optional excursions, lunch, and Opening Ceremony with performances and jury presentation.
- 25 May 2025: Free morning, optional excursions, lunch, and Closing Ceremony with awards and performances.
- 26 May 2025: Breakfast and departure.
Note: The organizers reserve the right to modify the program.
Participation Categories
- Folklore Songs Groups (authentic or modern arrangements): Choirs and ensembles.
- Folklore Dance Groups (authentic or modern choreography): Folklore dance groups and ensembles.
- Folklore Mixed Ensembles: Live vocal, instrumental, and dance performances (authentic or processed).
Age Divisions:
- Children and youth (up to 18 years, with up to 30% adults).
- Adults (18+).
Performance Duration: Maximum 10 minutes per program.
Awards and Recognition
- Grand Prize Winner: Voucher worth €1,000, diploma, and title of Winner of World Cup of Folklore™.
- Category Champions: Golden medals and diplomas.
- Second and Third Place: Silver and bronze medals with diplomas.
- Special Awards: Cash prizes and free video production for exceptional performances.
- All Participants: Laureate deeds, diplomas, and object awards.
Participation Fee
For Groups (11+ Participants):
- Hotel**: €185 per person (3 HB)
- Hotel*** Basic: €195 per person (3 HB)
- Hotel*** Comfort: €215 per person (3 HB)
For Individual Participants or Small Groups (Up to 10 People):
- Hotel**: €210 per person (3 HB)
- Hotel*** Basic: €230 per person (3 HB)
- Hotel*** Comfort: €260 per person (3 HB)
Additional Fees:
- Double room supplement: €7 per day/person.
- Single room supplement: €20 per day/person.
- Tourist tax: €1.50 per day/person.
Package Includes:
- 3 nights accommodation in 3 or 4-bed rooms with private bathrooms.
- 3 days half board (Italian breakfast and dinner with 1st and 2nd courses, dessert, and water).
- Festival participation fee.
- Support from festival staff.

Registration Process
- Fill out the application form (see below) and send it with a creative biography and group photos via email.
- Pay a 30% advance deposit of the total cost to confirm your participation.
- Submit the list of participants (names, birthdates, and passport details) by 20 May 2025.
Cancellation Policy
- Up to 60 days before arrival: No penalty.
- 59 to 15 days before arrival: Deposit withheld, additional 30% penalty of the total booking cost.
- Force majeure events: Deposit transferable to future Sopravista festivals within three years.
General Conditions
- Groups must submit an application form along with proof of prestigious awards from other festivals.
- Participants must make their own travel arrangements to and from Jesolo.
- Optional tours and airport transfers are available for an additional fee;
