The Bosphorus Strait runs through the city, dividing its European and Asian sides. Festival Dates and Conditions
- The festival begins on May 30, 2025, at 16:00 and ends on June 3, 2025, at 10:00. All participating groups must secure medical insurance prior to arrival. The organizing committee will not cover any medical or hospital expenses during the festival. However, ambulance services will be provided in case of emergencies.
- The festival is open to dancers aged 13 years and above. Singing Ensembles, Majorette Groups, Chorus Groups, Folk Dance Groups, and Modern Dance Groups are welcome to participate. Each group will present performances of 5, 10, or 15 minutes, with music formats either live or on CD. Photos of the groups must be submitted to the organizing team in advance.
Preliminary Festival Program
- On the first day, participants will arrive in Istanbul in the afternoon, enjoy free time, have dinner, and attend a meeting with group leaders. The second day begins with breakfast, followed by a visit to the Byzantine historic district, including iconic landmarks like the Blue Mosque (free), Hagia Sophia, Topkapı Palace, and the Grand Bazaar. After free time and dinner, performances will take place at the municipality stage in an open-air setting.
- The third day includes breakfast and a visit to a shopping center, with an option for beach time by the Marmara Sea. Festival performances will follow at the municipality stage, during which groups will also exchange dances and learn traditional Turkish rhythms and dances.
- On the fourth day, participants can enjoy a special Bosphorus Boat Tour for an additional cost of €20 per person or choose to spend time shopping. Performances at the municipality stage will close the day's events. The festival concludes on the fifth day with participant departures. The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the program.
Participation Fee and Inclusions
- The participation fee is €195 per person for four nights. This includes breakfast and dinner, as well as accommodation in a 3-star hotel. Rooms are equipped with 2-3 beds, a toilet, and a shower. For groups with over 30 people, one leader or driver is free (30+1). For groups of 45 people or more, two leaders or drivers are free of charge (45+2).
- The participation fee does not cover the cost of transportation to and from festival venues or excursions, but guidance services will be provided. A special Bosphorus Boat Tour is available at an additional cost of €20 per person. Diesel fuel for group buses is not included.
Airport Transfer and Transportation
- Airport transfers are available at varying costs depending on group size: €25 per person for 42 people on the bus (round trip), €30 per person for 30 people, €35 per person for 20 people, and €40 per person for 10 people. For groups traveling by plane, a bus can be hired to handle all ground transportation during the festival, including airport transfers, excursions, and performance venue transfers. The bus fee must be paid to the festival committee on the first day.
Registration and Payment
- Any group willing to participate must submit an application form. Approved groups are required to pay a 10% guarantee fee in advance, which will be deducted from the final payment. Hotel reservations will only be confirmed once 20% of the total fee has been deposited.
