INVITATION

Marmaris, one of Turkey’s most iconic touristic destinations, lies nestled between the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas. Known as the meeting point of these two seas, Marmaris offers breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and a vibrant cultural experience.

In the words of Fernand Braudel from his book Mediterranean:
"What is this Mediterranean? All of a thousand things. Not one landscape, countless landscapes. Not one sea, many seas following each other. Not one civilization, many civilizations piled on each other."

Marmaris encapsulates these layers of history, nature, and cultural diversity, making it the perfect host for this grand festival.

  • Start: May 18, 2025, at 16:00
  • End: May 22, 2025, at 10:00

 


 

Festival Rules and Participation Details

Eligibility:

  • Open to dancers aged 10 years and above
  • Participating groups must have at least 15 members.

Accepted Groups:

  • Folk Dance, Modern Dance, Classic Dance, Country Dance Groups
  • Folk Music, Classical Music, Country Music, Instrumental Music Groups
  • Brass Bands, Street Theater, Rhythm, and Acrobatic Groups
  • Mime (Dumb Show), Majorette, Flag, and Vocal Groups

Performance Guidelines:

  • Performance durations: 5, 10, or 15 minutes.
  • Music formats: Live, CD, or USB.
  • Groups must submit their photographs with the application.

Competition Fees:

  • Soloist: €50
  • Duet: €30 per participant
  • Trio: €20 per participant
  • Groups: €15 per participant

 


 

Participation Fee & Accommodation

Participation Fee:

  • €210 per person for 4 nights (All-Inclusive; no alcohol).

Accommodation:

  • Rooms with 2-3 beds.
  • Single rooms available at an additional €25 per person, per night.

 


 

Transfers and Transportation

Airport Transfers:

  • Dalaman-Marmaris round-trip transfer: €35 per person.

Local Transportation:

  • Groups must arrange their own transportation to the competition hall.
  • The organizing committee will assist with bus rental upon request.
  • Entry and exit to the festival area will be managed by the festival committee.

 


 

Important Notes

  • There will be no free participant slots for any group size.
  • The festival program will be announced closer to the event date.
  • Approved groups must pay a 10% guarantee fee upon confirmation. This fee will be deducted from the final payment.
