ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Welcome to the International Folktales for Peace Festival (ThailandIFF) – a groundbreaking celebration where tradition meets transformation. This one-of-a-kind experience is hosted on the Folktales for Peace platform, inviting participants from around the world to unite through storytelling, cultural exchange, and holistic learning.

Set in the serene landscapes of Thailand, this immersive event combines ancient wisdom with modern insight through interactive workshops, village visits, and artistic exhibitions, all aimed at promoting mindfulness, cultural heritage, and world peace.

Join us to climb the 6 Levels of the Ladder of Honor, engage in folk art and science seminars, and take part in a World Peace Declaration ceremony led by global cultural ambassadors.

GENERAL RULES:

The participants agree to abide by the following rules, regulations and procedures withtherecognitionthatit is intended to give everyone a fair opportunity to perform their abilities. Further, participantsagreetoabide by any special instructions oral or written, if necessary to accommodate unanticipatedcircumstancesand last minute changes.

. Participants is about to participate to all folklore performances,

. Group must be maximum composed of 16 persons including manager, dancers, musicians and a translator (who can speak English),

The performing area of the stage are in different places,

Each performance should be between 7 - 10 minutes. Longer performances hould be informed for arrangement,

Participants are expected to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the time of performance. Noonewillreceive a specific time,

It is the group leader’s responsibility to arrange to and fromtransportation for their group,

Upon arriving at the main stage location, the group leader must informwith thecoordinator andobtainspecific instructions regarding their performance,

It is the responsibility of the group leader to collect and ensure that all participantsarewaitingandpresent in a designated area, ready to perform in accordance with the instructions providedbycoordinator,

If a performance requires any special equipment, sound systemarrangement or extrapower needs,thismust be pre-arranged,

.ThailandIFF is not responsible for any reimbursement due to change, modificationor cancellation of any performance, schedule or format,

ThailandIFF will make fair and reasonable effort to accommodate all performancesif the rules above have been met and complied with. However, this is not a guarantee.

The committee Chair reserves exclusive rights to, repeat, modify or cancel anyactivity. No indemnification will be tendered in any form for such action nor will any appeals been tertained,

PARTICIPATION FEE:

- The group of 16 people will pay 129 euro per head for participation, hotel and food for certificates, special awards, training, local transportation frominternational airport tofestival center,tour services and back from festival center to international airport.

If the group member exceeds16 persons 225 euro will be charged per each additional person in excess of 16.

The festival committee will be provided meals starting with dinner of 29 October to Breakfast of 04 November, and hotel accommodation for 6 nights from 29 October for every participant during the festival, Hotel accommodation in 4* hotel HERMITAGE/ Swadee resort SISAKET,HERMITAGE KORAT, Station 203 BKKt, Thaland.

INSURANCE: . It is the responsibility of the delegation country to purchase life insurance and medical insurance for your own group of participants,

A flag of the country or region, the group represents should be brought to the venue. The exchange presents will be during the Opening and Closing Ceremony, with the organizers and local authorities are expected,

FESTIVAL PROGRAM

Day 1

  • Arrival and hotel check-in
  • Welcome ceremony and orientation on the Folktales for Peace platform
  • Introduction to ThailandIFF as a meditation and mindfulness lab

Day 2

  • Breakfast
  • Visit to a beautiful Thai temple
  • Study of 6 traditional art forms:
    • Engineering
    • Architecture
    • Sculpture
    • Painting
    • Music
    • Drama
  • Group dinner

Day 3

  • Exhibit of folk culture:
  • Folktales, folk dramas, folk dances, folk art, folk songs
  • Presentations by participants
  • Interactive sessions with villagers

Day 4

  • Climbing the 6 Levels of the Ladder of Honor
  • MOU signing ceremony with philosophers, villagers, and governors
  • Cultural exchange dinner

Day 5

  • World Peace Declaration presented by all team leaders
  • Seminar on folk art and science
  • ThailandIFF workshop: a research field for experimenters

Day 6

  • Closing ceremony
  • Distribution of certificates by accredited quality organizations
  • Farewell gathering
  • Departure
