INVITATION
We invite you to join us in the historic and vibrant city of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is famous for its exciting nightlife, numerous cultural and historical monuments, delicious food such as ćevapi, pita, and burek, and traditional Bosnian coffee with rahatlokum served in a fildžan. Visiting Baščaršija to enjoy these treats is a unique pleasure shared by the many tourists who visit this city, the second most visited in Europe.
Together with the many optional excursions offered, Sarajevo creates the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable cultural exchange.
FESTIVAL WELCOMES
The festival is open to folk ensembles and dance groups of all age categories, including children, youth, and adult groups.
GENERAL RULES
Each group must prepare a program consisting of two performances, each with a duration of ten minutes.
All groups are required to bring the national flag of their country as well as a sign displaying the name of their ensemble.
There is no limit on the number of participants per group or the number of groups per country.
The festival has a revue, non-competitive character.
All groups arrange their own international transportation.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation is provided at the 4-star Hotel “BM” in Sarajevo.
PARTICIPATION FEE
The participation fee is 150 EUR per person for 3 nights and 4 days, including full board with all meals.
For every group of 20 paying participants, one person participates free of charge (group leader).
For extended or shortened stays, the additional daily rate is 50 EUR per person per day.
INCLUDED BY ORGANIZERS
The participation fee includes tourist tax, hotel parking, interpreter services in English and Russian, two concerts per ensemble held on Friday and Saturday, evening social gatherings in the hotel hall every night, and free optional excursions to Vrelo Bosne, a gondola ride, Avaz Tower, and a guided tour of Baščaršija.
PAYMENT & CANCELLATION
A deposit of 50 EUR per person is required to confirm participation.
The deposit is non-refundable in case of group cancellation.

EXCURSION INFO
Free optional excursions included in the participation fee include a visit to Vrelo Bosne (the spring of the Bosna River), a gondola ride, a visit to Avaz Tower, and a guided tour of Baščaršija (Old Town).
Additional optional excursions may be offered upon request, such as a tour of the Olympic mountain Jahorina, cable car rides, a visit to Visoko and the pyramid site, and other historical and natural attractions.
