REGULATIONS OF THE FESTIVAL:
Holding international youth festivals is identifying new talents , international exchanging of experiences and ideas , getting to know new creative ways to strengthen friendly relations between children and youth from all over the world .
I. Purpose of the festival:
Meeting with the best creative teams , identifying gifted and talented children , the creation of children and young people opportunities for creative communication by showing the best examples of the artistic traditions of national art , sharing artistic directors’ experience; acquaintance with art and culture around the world.
II. Date and venue of the festival
The festival is held from 24th of July till 27th of July 2015 ,
Venue: Bratislava, Slovak Republic
The deadline to make application for the festival – 25/06/2015
III. Accommodation:
Festival participants are accommodated in 3 * hotels at the standard price list, meal -BB or HB, with the use of the entire infrastructure of hotels.
The program of stay 3 nights, 4 days
Participants accommodate in the DBL and TRIPLE rooms in 3 * hotels in Bratislava. Accommodation in a luxury hotel or made available by a separate agreement for an additional fee.
Food - according to the program option
Program costs - 160euro (accommodation, breakfast , a sightseeing tour of Bratislava)
180 euro (accommodation, breakfast and dinner, a sightseeing tour of Bratislava)
Additional charges festival payment (see position).
Price includes: accommodation, meals, selected categories, one sightseeing tour of Bratislava (without transport), disco, celebratory banquet for leaders , each 21th leader is free, prize cups collectives, soloists, duets and trios, quartets.
The program is adjusted by prior arrangement. Groups who will need transportation during your stay at the festival, you need to make an early, a written request.
III. Conditions for participation in the festival:
The festival invites children and youth groups and soloists of various art forms, such as folk dance groups , ballroom and modern dance , and folk bands , choirs , vocal ensembles and soloists , instrumentalists , children fashion theaters , representatives of fine art and decorative arts and crafts. The festival involves children and adolescents aged 7 to 21 and older from the Slovak Republic, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine, the Russian Federation and other neighboring countries.
Creative groups or individual performers do two numbers in each style category of no more than 5 minutes, in the category of instrumental music the duration is no more than 7 minutes.
Festival fee: 55 euro for soloist ( duo ), 30 euro for each member of ensemble .
For those wishing each additional nomination separately - 20 euro.
Festival fee includes - Festival technical equipment (sound, lighting , providing facilities for practice and preparing for the festival, diplomas, gifts, facilities for meetings of creative teams and discos ) .
Children will not only take part in the festival, but also can recreate, improve their health , visit historical places, share the creative experience, make friends with children from other countries .
IV. Age categories of participants:
- From 7 to 10 years old – the junior group;
- from 11 to 14 years - the middle group ;
- from 15 to 18 years old – the senior group
- from 18 to 21 – the youth group
- 21 years old + – the professionals
V. Nominations:
- Vocal genre ( folk song - solos , duets , ensembles ; pop song - solos , duets , ensemble ; academic song - solo , duets and ensembles )
- Choreography ( folk dance, classical dance , modern dance choreography , Cheerleading , pop dance , character dances , street dance (hip-hop, breakdance, popping, locking, New Style, house, etc.), jazz ballet , free plastic sport dancing - Step , sports rock 'n ' roll , etc.)
- Instrumental music
- Non-standard forms of children's creativity ( theatrical performances, fashion theater , illusionists , circus acrobatics );
- Fine arts and decorative arts - Plein Air 3 days : painting ( oil, watercolor , gouache, pastel , mixed media ), graphics ( drawings, engravings , lithographs , posters )
- art Photography
Note: All tools and materials are provided by the participants of the festival.
For the contest "Miss and Mister Festival" and "Mini Miss and Mini Mister Festival"
Those who want to fill out a questionnaire - application set sample with 3x4 photo to participate.
Participants must have:
- National costume of their state can be stylized
- LIMITS youth costume.
- Dress in the style of "Vanguard" (costumes made from unconventional materials).
- Evening formal suit for boys and ball gown (crinoline) for the girls to exit "Ball" and "rewarding".
- Footwear and clothing for rehearsals
- Costumes and outfits for performances made the participants or their parents. Under each suit necessarily chosen footwear for fashion shows.
VI. Evaluation criteria
Selection and complexity of repertoire, performance technique, number production, costumes , acting technique, entertainment and performing skills , originality, musicality and artistic interpretation of the work, correspondence between repertoire age category, general artistic impression .
VII. The jury:
The festival jury includes distinguished cultural figures, famous composers , musicians, artistic directors of festivals and competitions held in Czech and other participating countries , representatives of mass media .
The jurors evaluate the participants on a 10- point scale. The best performers are determined by the total number of points.
The jury’s approved and registered in the minutes decision shall be final and not subject to appeal.
VIII. Awards:
Declaration of the festival results and awarding are held separately in the "Vocal ", " Choreography '' , " Instrumental music "," Non-standard forms of children's creativity " ,” art Photography”, " Art ","Miss and Mister Festival" and "Mini Miss and Mini Mister Festival"
nominations according to the age groups of children .
The first, the second and the third award are provided in each category.
The winners are awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts.
Each participant receives a “Certificate of the festival member” ."
The festival jury determines the winner of the Grand Prix award of the festival in the above mentioned categories.
The duplication of prize-winning places according to the competition results is permitted / two first places , second, etc/.
The jury and the festival organizers award the team managers in the following nominations: "Best music teacher ", " Best Choreography" and "Best Art Direction ", "Best artist and teacher ."
General provisions for the festival :
1. Technical requirements :
Music records must be on the carrier : CD or USB ( flash drive ) with high sound quality .
Each record must be on a separate carrier , with the name of the band or the performer , the title of the work and the exact time duration of the sound.
2 . Requirements to the participants of the Festival:
Participants of the "Singing ( pop , folk, academic) contest are to use the "-1" or “a capella” soundtrack. The vocalist performance by “+1” phonogram is not allowed. It is possible to use the soundtrack with backing vocals .
One of the works must necessarily be in their native language.
Only one performance in a foreign language is allowed.
Priority of the participants in the contest is established by the organizers of the Festival 3 days before the festival . Changes are not allowed.
The jury selects awarded participants to take part in the gala concert .
3 . Competition requirements:
To participate in the competition the following documents are required:
- Participant's application (by sample);
4 . General requirements :
Preparation and holding the festival is exercised by the Organizer of the Festival. To receive an invitation for a visa, you must submit lists of participants of standard pattern by e-mail: surname and name /in English and Russian / as stated in your passport for travelling abroad/ ; day, month and year of birth ; number of your passport ; the validity of passport and documents for visa processing .
Attention : passport must be valid for min. 6 more months after the trip and have two empty pages !
Groups must have appropriate number of accompanying people/ 20children + 1leader/ , to whom is issued a notarized parental permission for the child to go abroad and who are solely responsible for the safety of life and health of children.
The Organizing Committee has the right to use and distribute / without payment of fee to the participants and guests of the contest/ audio, video , print and other kind of products produced during the events of the competition and its results .
Festival participants have the right to advertise their sponsor. To do this, participants should send a sponsor's logo / if there is /, company name, name of the Director .
To publish an article about the group / soloist / on the site of the organizers of the festival and for the preparation of the festival information it is necessary to provide a release bulletin, which should include a creative biography , interesting facts about the life of the group/ singer /, two color photos / sent via e-mail/ .
Organizing Committee sanctions the jury in each category, which consists of leading specialists of culture and arts of participating countries of the Festival .
Failure to comply with this provision shall entail the exclusion from the festival.
All applications are accepted until 25.06.2015
Upon receipt of confirmation of the request to participate, advance payment of 30% of the cost is made. Payment deadline is 30.06.2015
