 I N V I T A T I O N

 With pleasure we INVITE (folk ensembles,choral groups,orchestras,brass bands, majorette teams,vocal groups,art schools..) (children, youth and adult groups) to participate on  XXXVI International Music & Dance festival in PRAGUE ” 27 - 30. March 2025, Prague,Czech Republic 

The intention of our invitation  and the Festival light motive is to present the cultural tradition of different countries and to provide an opportunity for the members of groups to get together, to establish friendships and culture presentation trough dance and music in amaizing world city PRAGUE. The idea of the Festival is to bring the music closer to the people and to present the music on the streets and the squares.   

Program

27.03. – Arival of Ensembles at Hotel, room accommodation, and facultative tour of Prague with attendance of professional local guides: walk through main avenue Vaclav…, National museum, then Staromestke namesti (main town square) and view on famous astronomical watch-Orloj. Departure to a famous Prague ghetto-Jew  square and visit to Staronov Synagogue. Then departure to Vltava and tour of Carl’s bridge, the Old tower and monument to Carl the IV. National divaldo (theater) and then return to hotel. Diner.

Facultative departure to some of the discotheques for social activities and entertainment. Return to hotel. Overnight stay.

28.03. – After breakfast facultative whole day tour to Carl’s Vari, the most famous health resort in Czech and one of the most famous in Europe which was visited by many European rulers, brilliant painters, poets, and other famous people or whole day excursion to beautiful city of Dresden, the capital of the German federal state of Saxony, located on the banks of the Elbe River, which gives the entire landscape a special beauty. Dresden is decorated with a long and interesting history, a large number of monuments that testify to the golden times of Saxony and incredible stories about the former ruling family, and especially about Augustus the Strong. The Semper Opera House, the Zwinger, the Cathedral, the Royal Palace, museums, galleries, the New Synagogue, the bridges on the Elbe, promenades and squares are just some of the sights of this magical city. Free time for individual activities until departure to Prague !!!

Return to Prague. Going back to hotel. Dinner. Overnight stay.

29.03. - Breakfast. Festival day.

Sound check. Perform of cultural-art societies. Receiving of certificates. Dinner. Facultative: Mutually– friendly night. Overnight stay.

30.03. – Breakfast. Facultative ship tour on the river Vltava. Return to hotel. Leaving the hotel and unfortunately moving of all ensembles back to their arrival point of departure with another meeting next year!!!!!!

Price of registration fee is :

- 169 euro for 3 nights with half board at Hotels like : Top hotel ****

- 159 euro for 3 nights with half board at Hotels like : Olympik Congress ****,Hotel Olympik Tri Star ***..

- 119 € for 2 nights with half board at Hotels like : Hotel Olympik Congress ****, 

Olympik Tri star ***..

(paying goes in several month payments till departure time)

The arrangment price includes:

- Hotel accomodation in hotels like Top hotel ****, Olympik Congress ****,Hotel Olympik Tri Star *** in Prague based on 3 or 2 nights half board in 1/3 and 1/4 rooms ( supplement for 1/2 room is from 5 e – 7 € per person per night depends of Hotel )

- Organization expenses

- Free place on every 25 th member

 - Inviting letter

The arrangment price does not include:

- Additional day at some of Hotels is from 45 e per person in 1/3 or 1/4 room depend from Hotel

- Tourist tax is 2 € per day, only for persons older than 18 year old

- Facultative tours (tour of Prague from 10 e per person , Dresden 35 e, Carlstein 25 e , Carl's vari 35 e, Discoteques 15 e, Ship tour 15 €... prices depends from number of persons )

- Refundable deposit at Hotels ( 20 € - 30 € depends from Hotel )

- Transport, parking, insurance, vignete, or any other costs connected to Transport of group ...

Note: all ensembles must provide their own music, leading orchestar or music USB

Each ensemble is obligated to set performance in duration of 5 - 15 minutes.

Ensembles  from Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine, Croatia and Italy took part in the XXXIII. International Folklore Festival in Prague

More of 400 participants from Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine, Croatia and Italy took part in the XXXIII. International Folklore Festival in Prague, which took place in the period 16-19 March 2023.
The fact that the Prague festival, which has been successfully organized since 2008, has returned after such a long break is a prerequisite for the great impressions of performers and spectators from the program of all artists eager to perform.
The forum was attended by a fantastic group from Italy who presented their flag show, impressive groups from Serbia who gave their all, the cheerful formation "Horo" from Bulgaria, a fascinating group from Croatia, as well as by successful and beautiful dancers from Ukraine.
