INVITATION

We invite you to join us in the beautiful city of Keszthely, the cultural capital of the Balaton region in Hungary.

Known as the “Hungarian Sea,” Lake Balaton is a symbol of recreation and beauty, with 50 miles of tranquil green-blue water surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards. Keszthely combines a rich history with a relaxed lakeside atmosphere. It is home to the magnificent Festetics Palace, a baroque masterpiece, as well as numerous museums, charming streets, and a welcoming promenade along the shore.

This city creates the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable cultural exchange during the festival from 19-22 June 2026.

The festival welcomes folklore groups, orchestras, majorettes, modern dance groups, choirs, and music bands from all over the world. 

 ACCOMMODATION

Participation Fee: from 159 EUR per person

Additional Costs: Tourist tax 2 EUR per person per day (to be paid on the spot). Optional programs and insurance are not included. Additional days can be booked on demand depending on the accommodation type.

Included by Organizers: Accommodation, half board (two meals per day), participation in festival concerts, diplomas and gifts, organizational expenses, and free entry to the local beach.

Youth Hostel – 159 EUR per person in quadruple rooms, shared bathroom.
Supplement for double room: 10 EUR per person per day (maximum two double rooms per group).

192 EUR per person in apartments for four people.
Supplement for apartment for three people: 10 EUR per person per day.

209 EUR per person in triple or quadruple rooms.

215 EUR per person in triple rooms.

 PROGRAM

Day 1
Arrival and check-in. Meeting with group leaders and festival organizers to discuss the program. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel. Optional boat trip on Lake Balaton. Afternoon leisure time on the beach or sightseeing in Keszthely. Dinner at the hotel. Evening performance at the Music Pavilion of Keszthely followed by the closing ceremony, gift and diploma presentation, and free time to enjoy the evening atmosphere.

Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel. Optional activities such as sunbathing, wine tasting, or sightseeing. Visit to museums or a ride on the Sightseeing Nostalgia Train. Dinner at the hotel and free evening.

Day 4
Breakfast at the hotel and departure of participants.

 EXCURSIONS

Optional Sightseeing in Keszthely (extra paid):
Festetics Palace, Pethő House, Synagogue, Gothic Parish Church, Georgikon Museum, Balaton Museum, Helikon Memorial, and excursion to Szigliget Castle.

Other Optional Programs (extra paid):
Boat trip on Lake Balaton, wine tasting, visit to the Doll Museum, Surber’s Museum of Automatic Musical Instruments and Phonographs, Historical Panopticon, Georgikon Farm History Museum, and a ride on the Sightseeing Nostalgia Train.
