    With pleasure we INVITE (folk ensembles,choral groups, majorette teams...) (children, youth and adult groups  ) to participate on IV International music & dance festival "ATAŞEHIR",Istanbul from   21-25 may   

  History of Istanbul

Istanbul, formerly known as Byzantium and Constantinople, is the most populous city in Turkey and the country’s economic, cultural and historic center. Istanbul is a transcontinental city in Eurasia, straddling the Bosporus strait (which separates Europe and Asia) between the Sea of Marmara and the Black Sea.

With a total population of around 15 million residents in its metropolitan area, Istanbul is one of the world’s most populous cities, ranking as the world’s fifth-largest city proper and the largest European city.

In 1923, after the Turkish War of Independence, Ankara was chosen as the new Turkish capital, and the city’s name was changed to Istanbul. Nevertheless, the city maintained its prominence in geopolitical and cultural affairs. The population of the city has increased tenfold since the 1950s, as migrants from across Anatolia have moved in and city limits have expanded to accommodate them. Arts, music, film, and cultural festivals were established towards the end of the 20th century and continue to be hosted by the city today.

Festival conditions:

International Ataşehir Dance & Music Festival will be held between 21-25 May 

During the festival the groups will perform their dances, sing songs, participate in the activities and introduce their own cultures. They will visit the historic and touristic places of the beautiful region and make new friends with the world youths.

Accommodation:

Groups will be hosted altogether in 3 * or 4* Hotel which group choose the hotel . The accommodation will start in 21 May  at 14:00 and finish 25 May  after the festival program ends

The rooms are for 3 & 4 person. Only 2 double room will be giving to the groups without any extra fee.

If members want to stay double room, they must paid 10 Euro / person / day extra, For single rooms 15 Euro / person / day.

Meals: 

The commitee will give a 2 meals / day in Hotel. Either pocket or normal meal due to performance program.

Transportation:

If group will arrive by plane to Istanbul Airport, transfer(Airport-Hotel, Hotel-Airport, transfer during the festival) will be 600 Euro.

If group will arrive their own bus, they will use their own transportation at the festival.(It is max. 5 km during the festival)

Conditions:

  • Each country can participate with one group per category. (folk dance, modern dance, choir, majorettes, orchestra)
  • The commitee won’t pay any fee to groups for attending the organization.
  • The group should arrive in İstanbul on 21 May  and the departure date is 25 May after breakfast.
  • The number of group's participants is not limited, including the manager, leader musicians, drivers and dancers.
  • The age of dancers is not limited.
  • Performances should be either 5- 10 min., all groups have to present only 1 part on the stage.
  • The groups may perform with live music or a CD.
  • The groups should come with their national flags.
  • The group's list that contains dancers, musicians, leaders, drivers, age and sex should be send to us before 01 APRIL 2023.                          

Participation fee:

  • 160 Euro per person - 4 Nights/ 5 Days in a 3* HOTEL (All inclusive)
  • 190 Euro per person - 5 Nights/ 6 Days in a 3* HOTEL (All inclusive)
  • 195 Euro per person - 4 Nights/ 5 Days in a 4* HOTEL (All inclusive)
  • 230 Euro per person - 5 Nights/ 6 Days in a 4* HOTEL (All inclusive)

 * Groups will be participate with 2 participant & 1 group leader with costume.

  **There will be gift exchange with Governor.

16.00 - 17.00   Catalog Shoot

 *Each groups prepare 2 participant with costume.

  **Bus will be ready in front of hotel at 15.45.
