XI International Folklore Festival ''FOLK FRIENDS TOGETHER''

INVITATION
We invite you to join us in the beautiful cities of Târnăveni and Târgu Mureș, Romania, for an international folklore festival taking place from 20–24 August 2026.
Located in the heart of Transylvania, this region offers a rich cultural heritage, welcoming atmosphere, and a vibrant setting for artistic exchange and unforgettable performances.
PARTICIPATION
The festival welcomes folk ensembles, including leaders, drivers, interpreters, and accompanying persons.
Each ensemble may include a maximum of 45 participants.
Only one group per country is accepted, unless otherwise agreed with the organizers.
GENERAL RULES
Performance duration must be between 5 and 15 minutes. Live or recorded music is permitted.
All groups must bring their national flag.
Travel details and visa information (if required) must be submitted by 30 April 2026.
Groups arrange their own transport to Romania. Airport transfers from Cluj-Napoca or Sibiu can be organized at extra cost for non-European groups.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation is provided in hotels in Târnăveni or Târgu Mureș, in rooms for 2–3 persons.
PARTICIPATION FEE
The participation fee is 245 EUR per person, including full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) for the period 20–24 August 2026.
INCLUDED BY THE ORGANIZERS
Accommodation and meals during the official festival period.
English-speaking guide-interpreter.
Plaque, diploma, and souvenir exchange.
Cultural and tourist program during free time.
Professional sound equipment for performances.
Emergency medical assistance during the festival.
NOT INCLUDED
Medical insurance, which is mandatory for all participants.
Accommodation and meals outside the official festival dates.
Optional excursions.
IMPORTANT REGULATIONS
All groups must participate in all scheduled rehearsals and performances.
The group director is responsible for discipline, punctuality, and artistic quality.
Performances may be broadcast live or recorded for media and promotional purposes.
Special requests will be considered individually.
External engagements during the festival are not allowed without prior approval from the organizers.

EXCURSIONS
