With pleasure we INVITE you ( (children, youth and adults groups) to participate on XI INTERNATIONAL FOLK FESTIVAL IN MARMARIS   ”  from 16-20 May 2026

Marmaris: the crossroad of the Aegean and Mediterranean seaspart of the Mediterranean Sea between neighbours Turkey and Greece is the Aegean sea. This is how the two neighbours refer to the part the Mediterranean between them. The Aegean Sea is connected to the black Sea by Canakkale and Istanbul straits. A frequently asked question: "Where is the beginning and end of the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas?"

The Answer is "MARMARİS"
Meeting of cultures:
  • There are settlements spreading along the peninsula.
  • The town center is changing and modernizing due to the power of tourism.
  • The decreasing population is moving out further from the center.
  • Traditional villages still live alongside nature in the inner parts of the peninsula.
  • Multi-coloured, multi-cultured and living together in peace.

All visitors passing through on daily tours are embraced by the locals. You have the choice between central places where the sea, sand and the sun are complemented with nightly entertainment continuing until morning, or silent bays on a small boat swimming silently under moon light. Whatever your heart desires.

Festival conditions:

XXVI. International Marmaris Folk Dance Festival will be held between 16-20 May 2026.

During the festival the groups will perform their dances, sing songs, participate in the activities and introduce their own cultures. They will visit the historic and touristic places of the beautiful region and make new friends with the world youths.
Accommodation:
  • Groups will be hosted altogether in 4* Hotel which group choose the hotel. The accommodation will start in 16 May 2026 at 14:00 and finish 20 May 2026 after the festival program ends.
  • The rooms are for 3 - 4 persons. Only 2 double room will be giving to the groups without any extra fee.
  • If members want to stay in double rooms, they must paid 10 Euro/ person/ day extra, for single rooms 20 Euro/ person/ day.
Meal:
The commitee will give a 3 meals/ day (buffet meal) in Hotel. Either pocket or normal meal due to performance program. All drinks will be free during the staying time.
Transportation:
  • If group will arrive by plane to Dalaman Airport, transfer (Airport-Hotel,Hotel-Airport, transfer during the festival) can be organized by the festival team.
  • If group will arrive their own bus, they will use their own transportation at the festival. (It is max. 5 km during the festival).
Requirements:
  • Each country can participate with one group for per category (folk dance, modern dance, choir, majorettes, orchestra).
  • The commitee won't pay any fee to groups for attending the organization.
  • The group should be in Muğla-Marmaris on 16 May 2026 and the departure date is 21 May 2026 after breakfast.
  • The number of group is not limited for person, including the manager, leader, musicians, drivers and dancers. 
  • The age of dancers is not limited in the participant group.
  • Performances should be either 5- 10 min., all groups have the perform only 1 part on the stage.
  • The groups may perform with live music or a CD.
  • The groups should come with their national flags. 
  • The participate's group list which contains dancers, musicians, leaders, driver's age and sex should be send to us before 15 March 2026.         

Participation fee:

  • 230 Euro per person - 4 Nights/ 5 Days, 4* HOTEL (All inclusive)

Every 25 participants: 1 person is free (26th person is free).

** Prom concept will be Red or White
