Marmaris - the crossroad of the aegean and mediterranean seaspart of the mediterranean sea between neighbours turkey and greece is the aegean sea. this is how the two neighbours refer to the part the mediterranean between them. the aegean sea is connected to the black sea by çanakkale and İstanbul straits. A frequently asked question; “Where is the beginning and end of the mediterranean and aegean seas?”

Festival conditions:

International Marmaris Children Dance & Music Festival will be held between 22-26 April 2024 

During the festival the groups will perform their dances, sing songs, participate in the activities and introduce their own cultures. They will visit the historic and touristic places of the beautiful region and make new friends with the world youths.

Accommodation:

Groups will be hosted in 4* Hotel.

Groups need to arrive on 22 April 2024 after 14:00 and depart on 26 April 2024 after the festival program ends.

The rooms are for 3 & 4 persons. Only 2 double rooms will be provided to the groups without any extra fee.

If members want to stay in double rooms, they must paid 10 Euro/person/day extra, for single rooms - 17 Euro/person/day.

Meals: 

3 meals per day (buffet meal) in Hotel. Either pocket or normal meal due to performance program. All drinks will be free during the staying time.

Transportation:

If a group will arrive by plane to Dalaman Airport, transfers Airport-Hotel, Hotel-Airport, and transfer during the festival will be 600 Euro. It can be organizing by the Team.

If a group will arrive their own bus, they will use their own transportation at the festival. (It is max. 5 km during the festival)

Conditions:

• Each country can participate with one group per category (folk dance, modern dance, choir, majorettes, orchestra)
• The commitee won’t pay any fee to groups for attending the festival.
• The group should be in Muğla - Marmaris on 22 April 2024 and the departure date is 26 April 2024 after breakfast.
• The number of groups' members is not limited, including the manager, leader musicians, drivers and dancers.
• The age of dancers is not limited.
• Performances should be either 5- 10 min, all groups have to perform only 1 part on the stage.
• The groups may perform with live music or a USB.
• The groups should come with their national flags.
• The groups' list which contains dancers, musicians, leaders, driver’s age and sex should be send to us before 1 March 2024.

• 195 Euro per person - 4 Nights/ 5 Days in a 4* HOTEL (All inclusive)

NEWS FOR THE FESTIVAL

he International Children's Folklore Festival in Marmaris took place in the period from 22 to 26 April 2023. This year's edition hosted 300 artists from Latvia, Kosovo, India and local groups from Turkey. 7 are the groups that showed their creativity on the Turkish stage and got to know new cultures, creating memories of emotional festival experiences.

Participants experienced a yacht trip and a safari. During the workshop, they prepared a dance together for the closing ceremony and the Gala concert, which was watched by 6,000 spectators.
All together - audience and dancers danced at the final, because the purpose of the event was "DANCE FOR PEACE".

This festival has review of 11 groups and average estimation is VERY GOOD - 8,4/10
