INVITATION

 

We invite you to join us in the historic coastal city of Safi, Morocco.

Safi, one of the oldest cities in Morocco, boasts a rich history as a major seaport under the Almohads, Portuguese, and Saadians. Its ancient fortress and vibrant culture provide a stunning backdrop for an unforgettable cultural exchange during the festival from 2–6 April 2026.

The festival welcomes folk dance groups, folklore instruments, music groups, folklore songs, folkloric fairy tales, and ritual performers.

Performances include a 30-minute free program and a 5-minute presentation of the country during the opening and closing ceremonies.

Participants must be 12 years and older, with a maximum of 40 people per group.

Groups should bring a small gift for exchange, national flags, and a visible group name panel. A short history, photos, video, and promotional materials should be provided for advertising purposes.

Participants will also take part in cultural workshops, lectures, and exhibitions alongside groups from around the world and Europe.


 ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation is provided in 3-star hotels within walking distance of the city center.

Participation Fee:
250 EUR – 5 days / 4 nights with bed & breakfast in a triple room
300 EUR – 5 days / 4 nights with bed & breakfast in a double room
350 EUR – 5 days / 4 nights with bed & breakfast in a single room

Additional Information:
For every 25 paying participants, 1 person is free of charge (25+1).
After submitting an application and paying a 10% advance, an official invitation letter will be issued.
The balance must be paid 60 days prior to arrival.

Concerts for all groups on the city center main stage (minimum 3 performances)
Diploma and certificate for all participants
Free accommodation for group leader (if minimum 25 people)

Application Process:
Groups must complete an official application form.
A 10% guarantee fee is required upon approval and will be deducted from the final payment.


 PROGRAM

Day 1 – Arrival
Arrival of all participants to Safi
Meet & greet by festival representatives
Hotel check-in
Sightseeing in Safi
Rehearsals (time assigned per group)
Evening fellowship


 Day 2 – Opening Ceremony

Breakfast at the hotel (Riad)
Workshops and cooperation with local youth community
18:00 – Opening ceremony of the festival
Presentation of each country (5–10 min)
Grand fiesta and fellowship
Meeting with Safi officials


 Day 3 – Cultural Performances

Breakfast at hotel
13:00 – 15:00 – Interexchange culture workshops, dinner or trip by request
18:00 – 23:00 – Grand performance by all groups on the main stage


 Day 4 – Closing Ceremony

Breakfast at hotel
Free time, culture workshops, lectures, or trip by request
18:00 – Closing ceremony of the festival
Awarding of diplomas and fellowship evening
“Arabian Disco” with local DJ and Moroccan tea ceremony


 Day 5 – Departure
