    With pleasure we INVITE you (Folk ensembles, Choral groups,Brass bands, orchestras, modern dance group, majorette teams), (children, youth and adults groups) to participate on  XXI International  music & Folk - dance festival “ADRIA SUMMER  FEST” from 04 - 08 July ,  Pula-Rovinj - Rijeka, CROATIA

    The Festival light motive is to present the cultural tradition of different countries and to provide an opportunity for the members of groups to get together, to establish friendships and culture presentation trough dance and music.                        

    Pula, a seafront city on the tip of Croatia’s Istrian Peninsula, is known for its protected harbor, beach-lined coast and Roman ruins. Settled in the prehistoric era and valued for its strategic location, Pula has been occupied, destroyed and rebuilt numerous times. The Romans, Ostrogoths and Venetians, as well as the Allied Forces in World War II, have each administered the city

A great amphitheatre, Pula Arena, was constructed between 27 BC and 68 AD, much of it still standing to this day. The Romans also supplied the city with a water supply and sewage systems. They fortified the city with a wall with ten gates. A few of these gates still remain: the triumphal Arch of the Sergii, the Gate of Hercules (in which the names of the founders of the city are engraved) and the Twin Gates. During the reign of emperor Septimius Severus the name of the town was changed to "Res Publica Polensis". The town was the site of Crispus Caesar's execution in 326 AD and Gallus Caesar's execution in 354 AD. In 425 AD the town became the centre of a bishopric, attested by the remains of foundations of a few religious buildings.

Rovinj is a Croatian fishing port on the west coast of the Istrian peninsula. The old town stands on a headland, with houses tightly crowded down to the seafront. A tangle of cobbled streets leads to the hilltop church of St. Euphemia, whose towering steeple dominates the skyline. South of the old town is Lone Bay, one of the area’s pebble beaches. The Rovinj archipelago’s 14 islands lie immediately off the mainland.

General Rules:

  • In the festival can participate folklore groups, vocal groups, orchestras, majorettes, modern dance groups, art schools,  choirs and music bands from all over the world.
  • Groups should have prepared program duration  from  12-15 minutes  with USB or orchestra.
  • Groups should take a flag of their country
  • The number of the groups is limited on 60 people (only 3 groups from one country), musicians,dancers,leaders and family members 
  • Groups have to send us short CV and  photos of the group by e-mail.
  • All groups should have there own transport for arrival and departure.
  • Groups arriving by plane the festival committee can arrange their  transfers and inform them how much it will cost.

Excursions : sightseeing Pula city, sightseeing Rovinj city, boat trip with lunch on the boat ..excursions are extra paid.. 

Participation fee:

  • 155 euro  - 3 HB ( 3 nights with 2 meals per day - open buffet with drinks (non alcoholic and local beеr for dinner) (from 04 - 07 July)
  • 192 euro  - 4 HB (4 nights with 2 meals per day - open buffet with drinks (non alcoholic and local beеr for dinner) (from 03 - 07 July)
    • Groups of 25 persons: One group leader free of charge!
    • Supplement for double room is 15 €/person/day, for single room it is 30 euro/person/day
    • Additional day you can book of 49 euro per person HB ( with two meals per day)

Festival organizers provide:

-         for 25 dancers – one free,

-         Certificate for attendance,

-         souvenir and gift for each group,

-         drinks during the performance,

-         Free parking in hotel

-   open and close swimming pools and beach

-    advertising of the festival (press release, social media promotion, posters and flayers).

 INSURANCE: 

Personal responsibility and health insurance are within the other obligations of the groups. First Aid and Medical Hospital will be available, medical services must be covered of group

On your request,  You can continue your stay in istra  Price will be 49 Euro per day per person HB – price is special for the participants in festivals that we can provide.

 Tourist tax and insurance is 1,80 euro per person per day and it is additional.

After the festival finish organizers will send you link from the festival from where you can take photos and videos from the festival.

  The festival will organize the transport for the groups coming by plane by Zagreb airport or Rijeka airport and  picking them up from airport, during the festival days and back to airport. The cost of the transportation will be covered by the group and will be additionally agreed according to their number.

In 2022 were participate 10 ensembles with 300 participants from 12 different countries from EU.

 NEWS ABOUT THE FESTIVAL                                  

 XII International Music & Dance festival “ADRIA SUMMER  FEST”, in Pula, CROATIA

On the festival there are 12 ensembles and 400 participants..
Festival was held from 02- 06 July in wonderful tourist region of ISTRA in Croatia..
Welcome reception with leaders of the groups was held on 02 July in wonderful resort Duga Uvala where organizers present detail program for the festival..
On03 of July was held festival evening .After wonderful performances of ensembles, they receive on the stage Certificates and present from organizer. After that, all participants make photo together for great memories..
On 04 July were organized workshop - learning different dances where each ensemle teach the others On 05 July was organized disco party with all participants where they dance together till midnight..

During the day they enjoy swimming on the sea .They also visited Pula city, Rovinj city ...
