INVITATION
Belgrade is the capital and largest city of Serbia, situated at the place where the river Sava joins the Danube. It is one of the oldest cities in Europe and one of the greatest urban centers of the Balkan Peninsula. Belgrade is the capital of Serbian culture, education and science and offers plenty of historical sites and cultural and artistic events. Beautiful places for walking and recreation are very famous as well as vibrant nightlife of Belgrade.
Rules and criteria:
- Belgrade International Choir Fest is dedicated to mixed choirs, female and male choirs.
- Age of participants is 16+.
- There is no limit to the number of singers.
- The organizers maintain the right to limit the number of choirs if too many apply.
- Participating choirs should prepare the program up to 30 minutes and it is desirable to perform in their repertoire one composition from their country of origin. The repertoire of the choirs can include secular, sacred compositions of contemporary and old composers. The choirs will have 1 or 2 performances. Duration of the choirs’ performance depends on the total number of participating choirs.
- At the end of the concert all the choirs together will perform a composition chosen by the organizers – “Festival Hymn”.

- Video or link on YouTube where we can see your performances
Participation fee:
- 110 Euro per person - Hotels 3* (3 bad and breakfast , rooms with 2,3 beds, single 25 euro additional payment)
- 155 Euro per person - Hotels 3* (3 half boards, rooms with 2,3 beds) in 4* hotels:
- 149 Euro per person - Hotels 4* (3 bad and breakfast , rooms with 2,3 beds, single 30 euro additional payment)
- Each 26th person - FREE OF CHARGE (25 paying + 1 free of charge)
- Drivers are included in total number of persons.
- Any group willing to participate must submit an Application form. Approved groups pay in advance a 10% guarantee fee, which is to be deducted at the final payment.
- As the next step the groups should pay in advance 30 Euro per person as reservation, which is to be deducted at the final payment. The groups pay all bank taxes. The rest of participation fee the groups can pay in cash when arrive to the festival.
- If the group cancels the participation on the festival less than 5 days before the festival starts, the reservation expenses will not be refunded.
The participation fee includes:
- Invitation letter,
- Participation in the festival,
- Organization expenses,
- Diplomas and souvenirs,
- English speaking guide for participating groups.
The participation fee does not include:
- Transport expenses (if the group comes by airplane, the organizer of the festival could arrange a bus during the festival at the cost of the group),
- Insurance,
- Local transfers,
- Facultative tours,
- All kinds of hospitality expenses that are not included in the full board,
- All other expenses not mentioned in the program of the festival,
- Damage that participants make during the festival.
Very important:
- If you are interested in participating in the festival, please fill in the Application form as soon as possible.
- All participants of the festival must have their own international health insurance. Each group leader is responsible for the behavior of his group in accordance with the hotel policy and program of the festival and all damages during the festival will be at the cost of the group.
- The organizer of the festival reserves the rights to the video and photos of all participants. Also, the organizer reserves the right to any changes in the program, and the participants will be informed on time. By applying you confirm that you accept all festival conditions.
- Detailed program of Belgrade International Choir Fest will be sent to participants.

SUCCESSFUL EDITION OF THE INTERNATIONAL CHOIR FESTIVAL IN BELGRADE
Third edition of the International Choir Festival in Belgrade was held from 2nd till 5th of May 2019. The event were attended by groups from Greece, Croatia, Bulgaria and Serbia and about 250 participants at all. Performers presented their musical skills in the Saborna Church in Belgrade and in National Museum in Belgrade.
The Closing ceremony was held on May 5th in one of the most well-known concert halls in the center of the Serbian capital. At the end of the concert, all participating choirs performed together a composition from one of the most famous Serbian composers Stevan Stojanović Mokranjac. During their spare time, participants had the opportunity to explore the beauty of Belgrade and to visit the sights of the town.

EIGHT CHOIRS FROM FIVE COUNTRIES TOOK PART IN A FESTIVAL IN BELGRADE
Eight choirs with about 250 participants from Estonia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Israel and Serbia participated from 3 to 6 May at the Second International Choral Festival in Belgrade. By two representative choirs took part from Bulgarian and Serbian side, as well as the Chorus Ensemble at the Ministry of Defense "Stanislav Binicki", announced the directors of the festival ."On the first day, three of the choirs performed in Cultural Center in Obrenovac, near Belgrade. On the second day the participants had free time for sightseeing, and their evening performances were in the concert hall of the Central Military Club. The third festival day included morning technical rehearsals and leisure, and the evening concert and the official closing ceremony of the festival took place in one of the most renowned concert halls in the center of Belgrade at Kolarac Endowment. At the end of the concert, all participating choirs performed a composition by one of the most famous Serbian composers - Stevan Stojanović Mokranjac, after which they received diplomas for participation", said the organizers, who have traditionally exchanged souvenirs with the participants.
After the concert, the hosts traditionally organized a "Serbian evening" with a party and dinner for the participants.
