We invite you to join us on the historic and enchanting island of Malta, a Mediterranean crossroads rich in cultural diversity and a strong, centuries-old choral tradition.

Malta, with its strategic position in the heart of the Mediterranean, boasts a unique blend of history, charm, and warm hospitality. Its stunning baroque churches and festive Christmas atmosphere provide the perfect setting for a choral celebration. During your free time, explore the island’s unique cities and villages, full of history and seasonal charm.

This non-competitive festival, running from 4–6 December 2026, aims to bring together diverse choral traditions from around the world for mutual cultural exchange and enrichment in Malta’s beautiful sacred spaces.

 FESTIVAL WELCOMES

Mixed choirs, male choirs, women’s choirs, youth choirs, sacred music choirs, gospel choirs, folk music choirs, etc.

 GENERAL RULES

Group size: Minimum 18 persons (including non-singers).
Repertoire: Must include sacred and Christmas songs; gospel songs are welcome. Performances take place in Catholic churches.
Performance: Can be a cappella or accompanied. The organization provides a piano organ or electric keyboard for each church. Any other instruments must be brought by the choir.
All participating choirs will unite for a final joint song.
Groups arrange own international airfare/transport to Malta.

 ACCOMMODATION INFO

Accommodation in selected 3-star or 4-star hotels in tourist areas.

Package Prices – 4-Star Hotel (3 nights):
Bed & Breakfast (BB): €245 per person (twin/triple/quad)
Half Board (HB): €295 per person (twin/triple/quad)
Single room supplement: €75
Children up to 3 years: Free
Supplement for non-performer extras: €5 per person per night

Package Prices – 3-Star Hotel (3 nights):
Bed & Breakfast (BB): €215 per person (twin/triple/quad)
Half Board (HB): €265 per person (twin/triple/quad)
Single room supplement: €75
Supplement for non-performer extras: €5 per person per night

Package Includes:
3 nights accommodation
Meal plan as selected (BB: buffet breakfast; HB: buffet breakfast + lunch or dinner)
Tourist tax
One group transfer from/to airport/harbor (arrival & departure)
Transfers from hotel to all performance venues
Assistance by festival personnel
Festival registration fee

Extra Night Rates (per person, double room):
4-Star: €50 (BB), €65 (HB)
3-Star: €48 (BB), €60 (HB)

Payment & Registration:
Registration Deadline: 30 August 2026
Deposit: 30% of total amount due upon confirmation (non-refundable)
Full Payment: Due no later than 4 November 2026
Cancellation Policy: Refund only if cancellation is made more than 10 days before the festival. No refunds within 10 days of the event.

 PROGRAM INFO

Day 1 – Friday, 4 December 2026:
Arrival of all groups (must arrive before 14:00, or optionally on Thursday 3 Dec)
Lunch at hotel (for HB groups)
Evening: First festival concert in a local baroque church with Maltese choirs

Day 2 – Saturday, 5 December 2026:
Breakfast at hotel
Daytime: Free time or optional excursions
Lunch at hotel (for HB groups)
Evening: Second festival concert in a local baroque church

Day 3 – Sunday, 6 December 2026:
Breakfast at hotel
Daytime: Free time or optional excursions
Lunch at hotel (for HB groups)
Evening: Final festival concert. Participation trophies presented to all choirs by local authorities

Day 4 – Monday, 7 December 2026:
Breakfast (if on BB/HB and staying extra night)
Departure of all international choirs
