INVITATION

We invite you to join us in the magical and historic region of Cappadocia, in Ürgüp, Turkey, for an international folklore festival and competition taking place from 23–27 July 2026.

Cappadocia is world-renowned for its breathtaking landscapes of fairy chimneys, ancient rock-cut churches, and underground cities. This unique and inspiring setting offers an unforgettable backdrop for cultural celebration and artistic exchange.


 FESTIVAL WELCOMES

The festival is open to folk dance groups of all ages.


 GENERAL RULES

Performances should last between 5 and 10 minutes. Live music is preferred, while recorded music is also acceptable. Each group must prepare two different performances, each with a maximum duration of 6–8 minutes. All groups are required to bring their national flag. There is no limit on the number of participants per group.

The application must include a minimum of six digital group photos, a short group description, and performance videos or links with descriptions. Groups are responsible for organizing their own transport to Cappadocia. Free airport transfer is provided from Kayseri or Nevşehir Airport for groups arriving by plane.

As confirmation of participation, a non-refundable deposit of 1,000 EUR per group must be paid in advance. The remaining balance is due 15 days before the festival or upon arrival at the hotel. The final application and deposit deadline is 15 April 2026.


 ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation is provided in 5-star hotels in Ürgüp, Cappadocia, such as Dinler Hotel Ürgüp or Suhan Hotel Cappadocia.

The participation fee is 209 EUR per person, which includes 4 nights with half board (open buffet breakfast and dinner).

A double room supplement of 10 EUR per person per day applies. A single room supplement of 20 EUR per person per day applies. International health insurance is the responsibility of each participant.


 INCLUDED BY ORGANIZERS

The package includes one free participation per 25 paying participants, a special festival gift pack for each participant (including an attendance festival hat, t-shirt, and certificate), and full promotion and organizational support.

Hotel facilities include luxury 5-star amenities, open buffet dining for breakfast and dinner, and accommodation in double and single rooms (supplements apply).

 EXCURSIONS

Optional excursions (extra paid) include a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia, a visit to Göreme Open Air Museum, underground city exploration, and a traditional Turkish night show.
