The 5th Edition of the Costa Barcelona International Folk Festival invites Folk Groups, Flag-waving Groups, and Bagpipe Bands to participate in this exciting cultural event, organized by Malgrat Municipality in collaboration with EuroArt Productions SRL and Leon Promotions.

This non-competitive festival features parades and performances in parks and main squares of Malgrat de Mar. Participants will enjoy warm Mediterranean weather, beautiful beaches, and an atmosphere full of charm and history.

All groups will stay in a 4-star hotel in the touristic area of Malgrat de Mar, with full board meals (buffet-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

The festival provides an audio system for standstill performances, including CD/pen drive compatibility and up to 5 microphones for instrument and voice amplification.

Tuesday, 7th October 2025

• Arrival of groups.
• Morning: Free time or optional excursion.
• Afternoon: Performance in one of the squares of Malgrat.

Wednesday, 8th October 2025

• Morning: Performances in Malgrat squares.
• Afternoon: Free time or optional excursion.

Thursday, 9th October 2025

• Morning: Official welcome ceremony by the Mayor of Malgrat de Mar at the Local Council’s Headquarters.
• Afternoon: Parade with all groups along the waterfront and main streets, followed by performances at Parc Campassol.
• Evening: Spectacular show at the hotel featuring all groups.

Friday, 10th October 2025

• Morning: Performances at Plaza J.A. Clavé.
• Afternoon: Free time or optional excursion to Barcelona, Girona, Tossa de Mar, etc.

Saturday, 11th October 2025

• Morning: Free time or optional excursion.
• Afternoon: Final parade and performances by all groups.
• Award ceremony by the Festival Organisation and Local Authorities.

Sunday, 12th October 2025

• Departure of groups.

• Participating groups must book the Festival accommodation package.
• Full payment deadline: 8 September 2025.
• Registration deadline: 10 August 2025.
• Cancellations: Refunds possible only up to 10 days before the festival.
