We are delighted to INVITE you to the XIII International Festival of Folklore in Spain – “BARCELONA – LLORET DE MAR.” This festival brings together folk ensembles, cultural-art societies, and dance groups from around the world to celebrate cultural heritage, perform on stage, and experience the vibrant traditions of Spain. Lloret de Mar on the beautiful Costa Brava, with its proximity to Barcelona, provides the perfect backdrop for this unforgettable event.

 PARTICIPATION INFORMATION

The festival is open to folk ensembles, cultural-art societies, and dance groups, including children, youth, and adult groups. Each ensemble must prepare two performances, each lasting 10 minutes. Music may be provided via CD or live orchestra, and each ensemble is responsible for providing its own music.

Groups must submit a CV and photos via email. All groups arrange their own transport, although optional excursions are available at an additional cost.

Application requires submission of the completed form.

 ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION

Accommoodation at 3-star and 4-star hotels in Lloret de Mar, such as:
3-star: Hotel Fenals Mar, Hotel Golden Sand, Hotel Hawai/Montevista, Garbi Park, Vila Garbi, Samba, Festa Brava, Copacabana.
4-star: Hotel Xaine Park, Hotel Ona Don Juan, Hotel Sun Village, Gran Garbi, Garbi Mar, Hotel Mariner.

Participation Fee (5 days / 4 nights, full board unless stated):
235 € – Full board at 3-star hotels (e.g., Fenals Mar, Golden Sand).
265 € – Full board at 3-star hotels (e.g., Copacabana, Hawai/Montevista).
255 € – Full board at 4-star hotels (e.g., Xaine Park, Ona Don Juan).
235 € – Half board at 4-star hotels (e.g., Sun Village).
Included by Organizers:
One additional seat (free participation) per 25 paying members.
Participation in the “Festival Espana 2026” (1-3 performances).
Certificates and Silver plaques after performance.
Invitation letter.
Full promotion.
Additional Costs:
Double room supplement: from 7 EUR/person/night.
Tourist tax: 1.32 EUR/person/day (3-star hotels) or 2.64 EUR/person/day (4-star hotels).
Additional night (if needed): from 55 EUR/person (full board).
Facultative excursions (Barcelona, Flamenco show, Aquarium Barcelona, etc.) – prices vary.
Hotel Facilities:
Buffet service for meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
Accommodation in triple and quadruple rooms. Double rooms available with supplement.

 PROGRAM INFORMATION

Day 1 – 24 June 2025 (Arrival in Lloret de Mar)
Morning: Arrival and hotel accommodation
Lunch
Afternoon: Info-meeting with group representatives, sightseeing of Lloret de Mar, and relaxation
Evening: Optional visit to a discotheque

Day 2 – 25 June 2025 (Barcelona Excursion & Opening)
Optional excursion to Barcelona: Sightseeing of Gaudi’s works, Rambla street, Gothic Square, Barcelona Cathedral, Parliament, Picasso’s Museum
Defile through the city and opening performance of “XIV Festival Espana 2025” on the town square

Day 3 – 26 June 2025
Optional excursion to Port Aventura theme park (Spanish “Disneyland”)

Day 4 – 27 June 2025
Optional second tour of Barcelona: Visit to FC Barcelona’s Nou Camp stadium, Montjuic Hill, and Barcelona Aquarium
Second night of festival performances

Day 5 – 28 June 2025
Optional visit to Aqua Park or beach activities
Afternoon: Preparation for defile and performances

Day 6 – 29 June 2025 (Departure)
Departure from Lloret de Mar with optional stops in France (Cannes, Nice) for sightseeing

 EXCURSIONS INFORMATION

Optional excursions include:
Barcelona Tour: €25 per person
Flamenco Show: €25 per person
Camp Nou Tour: €25 per person
Barcelona Aquarium: €25 per person
Water World: €25 per person

The organizer reserves the right to modify the program due to organizational needs.
