Welcome to the XIII International Festival of Folklore in Spain – “BARCELONA – LORET DE MAR.”

Festival Highlights

• Open to folk ensembles, cultural-art societies, and dance groups (children, youth, and adult groups).
• Performances on the festival stage.
• Experience the rich cultural traditions of Spain.
• Enjoy the beautiful setting of Costa Brava, Lloret de Mar, and its proximity to Barcelona.

Participation Details

• Eligibility: Open to folk ensembles, cultural-art societies, and dance groups (children, youth, and adult groups).
• Each ensemble must prepare two performances, each lasting 10 minutes (music CDs or live orchestra). Ensembles must provide their own music.
• Groups must send a CV and photos via email.
• Groups arrange their own transport. Optional excursions are available at an extra cost.

Participation Fee

• Festival Package (4 Nights, Full Board) from 24 - 28 June
• 215 EUR – 5 nights with full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) at 3-star hotels.
• 235 EUR – 5 nights with full board at 4-star hotels.

• 245 EUR – 5 nights with full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) at 3-star hotels. from 24-29 june
• 275 EUR – 5 nights with full board at 4-star hotels.

Fee Includes:

• 5 nights accommodation in a 3-star or 4-star hotel in Lloret de Mar.
• Full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
• Tourist tax: 0.50 EUR/person/day (3-star hotels) or 1 EUR/person/day (4-star hotels).
• Transfers from the hotel to all performances: Included.
• Festival registration.
• Assistance by festival personnel.

Festival Program

Day 1 – 24 June 2025 (Arrival in Lloret de Mar)

• Morning: Arrival and hotel accommodation.
• Lunch.
• Afternoon: Info-meeting with group representatives, sightseeing of Lloret de Mar, and relaxation.
• Evening: Optional visit to a discotheque.

Day 2 – 25 June 2025 (Barcelona Excursion & Opening)

• Optional excursion to Barcelona: Sightseeing of Gaudi’s works, Rambla street, Gothic Square, Barcelona Cathedral, Parliament, Picasso’s Museum

• Defile through the city and opening performance of “XIV Festival Espana 2025” on the town square.

Day 3 – 26 June 2025

• Optional excursion to Port Aventura theme park (Spanish “Disneyland”).

Day 4 – 27 June 2025

• Optional second tour of Barcelona: Visit to FC Barcelona’s Nou Camp stadium, Montjuic Hill, and Barcelona Aquarium.
• Second night of festival performances.

Day 5 – 28 June 2025

• Optional visit to Aqua Park or beach activities.
• Afternoon: Preparation for defile and performances.

Day 6 – 29 June 2025 (Departure)

• Departure from Lloret de Mar with optional stops in France (Cannes, Nice) for sightseeing (optional).

Optional Excursions:

• Barcelona Tour: €25 per person
• Flamenco Show: €25 per person
• Camp Nou Tour: €25 per person
• Barcelona Aquarium: €25 per person
• Water World: €25 per person

Organizer’s Right to Modify:

• The organizer reserves the right to change the program due to organizational needs.
