   The VIENNA - where the streets are paved with culture!

Vienna, city of culture, city of music, city of art, romantically imperial city!

Vienna is referred to by many as a unique onion, with each of the urban layers surrounding the oldest historic center being equally important to the overall flavor of the city. The Austrian capital, therefore, embraces all the traditions of a European city, from Roman foundations to Gothic, Baroque, and Historicism. Tourists are eager to visit Vienna because of the city's exciting combination of the royal-imperial flair of the past with the latest trends, the responsible cultivation of a precious heritage, and charming traditions. But much more than old buildings turn Vienna into a city of beauty: one also finds excellent museums, fine art collections, and world-renowned works of art in the city.

Accommodation

The accommodation of the participants will be organized in Hotels located in Vienna and in the close surroundings of Vienna.  The groups will be accommodated in rooms with 3 and 4 beds with their own bathroom. Each Group can have only 2 double rooms which can be used for the Leaders and Drivers. 

The festival fee is 92 euro per person. It covers organizational expenses, accommodation in 4**** Hotel for 2 nights on a BB basis (bed and breakfast). For every 25 participants, one member is free of charge.

Optional: Lunch or dinner for the Groups participants can be organized. Price for buffet menu upon request. 

Extra charges:

- Double Room: 8 euro/person/day

- Single Room: 25 euro/day

- Extra night: 40 euro/person/day 

 

3 days (2 nights) = 92 € per person

The International Folk Dance Festival “Spring in Vienna is a non-competitive festival of traditional and modern dances. At the festival may participate children and youth folklore dance groups, modern dance groups, instrumental groups, choirs, as well as groups and performers from other art styles. The age of participants is not limited.

The participant group should arrive in Vienna on the 10th of March 2023 and leave on the 12th of March 2023 after having breakfast and leave the rooms till 10:00.

During these 2 days of the festival, the groups will have one performance in a closed Concert Hall. Groups will perform for 10 min either with live music or USB. The performances will be in the evening hours so you can plan the day ahead and use it for visiting the city attractions or the largest Shopping center. Every Group will be rewarded with a Certificate for taking part in the Festival.

During the free time, on group request the Festival Team can organize several excursions:

- Danube Tower

- Sightseeing tour of Vienna

- Palace of Habsburg Dynasty Schonbrunn

Festival Program:

10.03. – Friday
15:00-Arrival and Accommodation of the groups at the hotel.
19:30-Free Afternoon.

11.03. – Saturday
09:30-Free Time - Excursion Day – (You can find more information in the “Excursions” section.)
15:00-Concert (Depending on the number of the groups we will let you know about the minutes of your performance.)

12.03. – Sunday
11:00-Departure Of The Groups After The Breakfast.

Detailed Festival Program will be given to you 1 month before the start of the festival.

1. Sightseeing of VIENNA

The World of the Habsburgs is a virtual exhibition showcasing the history of the Habsburgs and their times. Covering the six centuries of their rule, it includes historical personalities and important locations associated with the dynasty.

The Zoo in Schönbrunn is the oldest zoo in the world and has been repeatedly awarded the title of the best zoo in Europe. The Schönbrunn Zoo is well worth a visit to see over 500 different species of animal; including the baby elephant and baby panda who have hit the headlines over the last few years. Steeped in historical settings, but with some of the best conditions and facilities a zoo can offer, Vienna’s Schönbrunn Zoo is a great day out for the family
