The Organizing Committee is pleased to invite you and your choirin Istria in 2017.

The festival takes place in three beautiful Istrian towns: Rovinj (www.tzgrovinj.hr), Vrsar

(www.infovrsar.com/hr) and Pazin (http://www.central-istria.com/hr/odredišta-destinations/pazin/) in

April and May 2017. 

Each choir can decide in which part they want to participate. Every part of the festival receives about 10

foreign choirs. Overall, the festival has about 40 choirs.

GENERAL RULES:

The participating choirs, will have three concerts and one presentation, every day at a concert in another

city. Concerts will be held mainly in concert halls and churches, but it is possible to maintain the

performances in squares and theaters, suitable for concert choirs.

At concerts on Thursdays and Fridays will meet all the choirs, while the Friday concert held 2-4 corps,

depending on the location.

Each choir will be available approximately 20 minutes for the program, which should prepare three

religious and three secular songs of their choice. Length of the program depends on the number of

participants choirs.

It will be interesting to listen to all the choirs together will sing two simple Croatian compositions. Scores of

these tracks will subsequently be sent to all the meetings of the participants.

2. Organization and accomodation

All choirs will be housed together in Vrsar, in a 4 * resort, close to the sea.

Accommodation packages of the Festival:

FAKS HB:

- 3 nights in a double room (with 2 meals per day)

- Welcome drink

- Breakfast and dinner during the festival

- On Saturday, Istrian dinner and party in typical istrian restaurant with live music

- The organization of festivals and tours in Rovinj and Pazin

Price per person: 135 Euro

FAKS FB:

- 3 nights in a double room (with 3 meals per day)

- Welcome drink

- Breakfast, lunch and dinner during the festival

- On Saturday, Istrian dinner and party in typical istrian restaurant with live music

- The organization of festivals and tours in Rovinj and Pazin

Price per person: 150 Euro

Participants at their own expense should organize choir transfer at the destination and concert during the

festival.

For the choirs who will come with an aeroplane or by train, we can arrange our bus at the expense of

participants, at a favorable price. The bus will be available to answer your specific travel during the festival

and for all views (transfers from - to the airport, railway station, city tour).

During the whole of your stay will be organized trips to our area as hereinafter described. 

For the entire duration of the festival with you will be a companion of the organization of the festival.

Lunch will be organized for those who have booked a package FAKS FB with full board. Others can

optionally come to lunch at Resort at a cost of 10 Euros per person, per day.

If you want to stay a few days longer, we can book in the same resort and organize all your excursions

according to the program that each year is appreciated by participants of FAKS Sings Festival.
