 INTERNATIONAL FOLKLORE FESTIVAL “SUNNY BEACH 2017” that will take place in the best known Bulgarian holiday resort on the Black Sea – Sunny Beach, near the city of Nesebar.

Chernomorski Perli, in the place Sveti Vlas, where you will also perform in one festival evening, is also part of the Sunny Beach Festival.

The festival is noncompetitive and there are ensemble participants from various countries such as Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia, Russia … The festival lasts for three days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and you can perform all three days or as agreed, but performance on the final evening of the festival is obligatory. The requirements for the festival are that you have prepared at least one piece of choreography which you can repeat all three evenings or you can have a different choreography for every festival evening. Accompanying music is welcomed, but not obligatory, because music can be played from CD as well.

On the final evening of the festival, there is a parade and afterwards is the declaring of the best male and female costume, miss and mister of the festival, as well as the best dancing couple.The festival takes place at the center of the holiday resort Sunny Beach on a professional stage with high quality sound and lighting equipment.

You are to take a board stating the name of the group, and also, your national flag.

ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS:

Hotel “Helvetia” – Sunny Beach

The hotel is located in an exclusive hotel complex in Sunny Beach, at 1500 meters from the center of the resort toward the town of Sveti Vlas. The beach is 300 meters away. Hotel is newly built, received its first guests in 2010. It has a very well and tastefully furnished triple rooms with bathroom, TV with satellite program, air conditioning, terrace. There are outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers, bar in the lobby of the hotel with a nice garden, as well as a restaurant for food. Meals are on full board basis: breakfast – buffet (self-service), lunch – bar menu (soup or broth , main dish, salad, fruit or dessert), dinner – menu also (main course with side dish, salad, fruit or dessert). As the owner of the hotel is from Macedonia, food at the hotel is prepared in Macedonian and Serbian way, and it is possible to arrange food according to the requirements of national cuisines countries from which ensembles that are located in this hotel.

Hotel “Delta beach” – Sunny Beach

The hotel is located in an exclusive hotel complex Sunny Beach, at the entrance of the complex in the direction from Nesebar, behind hotel Kotva, straight from the beach. It is separated from the beach only with a sandy dune, near to the center of the holiday resort and the center of Nesebar. There are rooms with three or four beds, exclusively accommodated, air-conditioned, cable TV, a fridge, a bathroom, a terrace with furniture to sit in. There are three hotel pools available with pool chairs, two halls where groups can practice their choreographies or do other activities that they have chosen, and also, a big dining hall. It is convenient for ensembles because of the vicinity to the centre of Nesebar and the possibility to have a good time. Food is full-board, buffet with 5 or 6 types of meal to choose from, self-service.

Respected friends, you can see that the offers of hotels for accommodation of the groups differ, offering you a cheaper version with humble accommodation conditions and food, and, the more expensive version that costs a little higher, but offers you everything that the first is missing, so it is your choice, but I can assure you from previous experience, that you won’t regret if you choose the cheaper version.
