AMSTERDAM
Amsterdam is the Netherlands’ capital, known for its artistic heritage, elaborate canal system and narrow houses with gabled facades, legacies of the city’s 17th-century Golden Age. Its Museum District houses works by Rembrandt and Vermeer at the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and modern art at the Stedelijk. Cycling is key to the city’s character, and there are 400km of cycle paths.
FESTIVAL PROGRAM
1 Day 22.06
- 14:00 Arrival in Amsterdam. Accommodation in the selected accommodation unit. Free time for the individual activities.
- 19:00 Dinner
- 22:30 Meeting with the organizers and the other participant ensembles.
2 Day 23.06
- 07:30 Breakfast
- 10:00 Briefing with the organizers, other participating ensembles, local ensembles, and the local authorities.
- Free time for the individual activities, Amsterdam city sightseeing.
- 17:00 Dinner
- 18:30 Gathering of the groups. Defile.
- 19:00 Opening ceremony of the the festival. Performances of the groups
- (The detailed program of the festival and the order of appearances will be submitted to the groups on their arrival)
- 22:30 Optional going in the disco club
3 Day 24.06.
- 07:30 Breakfast
- 10:00 Optional excursion to Rembrandt House, Heineken experience,
- Red Light District, Flower market, Van Gogh House, Royal Palace etc..
- 17:00 Dinner
- 18:30 Performances of the groups. Closing ceremony of the festival, plaque and diploma award, exchange of the presents between the groups and the organizers. End of the festival.
- 22:30 Goodbye Party in the restaurant
4 Day 25.06.
- 07:30 Breakfast
- 12:00 Departure groups. End of service
