International festival “AEGEAN STARS - 2026”

Groups pay in advance a 10% guarantee fee, which is to be deducted at the final payment.
The festival will take place on the stage in Thessaloniki. During their stay, the groups will have the opportunity not only to participate in the festival, but also to visit many picturesque and interesting places, learn about Greek history and culture,and relax in a 5-star hotel on the coast of Halkidiki.

Main goals and objectives of the festival:

  • Creating opportunities for creative communication for children, teenagers, and youth
  • Identifying new talents
  • Developing culture and strengthening international cooperation
  • Introducing samples of national culture and art
  • Getting acquainted with leading creative groups and establishing creative contacts
  • Exchanging experience among participating countries in the artistic education of children, teenagers, and youth
  • Creating conditions for supporting and developing children’s and youth creativity

Conditions of participation:

Children’s groups (ages 5–16), youth groups (16–25), adult groups (26+), and solo performers may participate in the following categories:

I. VOCAL (Folk, Pop, Jazz, Academic)

Performance duration: up to 4 minutes

II. CHOREOGRAPHY (Folk, Pop, Classical, Ballroom Dance, Modern, Jazz, Street Dance, Hip-hop, Break Dance, Disco, Belly Dance, etc.)

  • Small Forms (3–4 participants)
  • Ensembles

Performance duration: up to 5 minutes

III. INSTRUMENTAL GENRE (Folk, Classical, Pop, Jazz)

IV. ORIGINAL GENRE (Circus acts, acrobatics, clowning, gymnastics, juggling, object show, illusion act, etc.)

V. THEATRICAL ARTS (Dramatic performance, puppet theater, musical, mime and pantomime, street theater, parody theater, shadow theater, monodrama, etc.)

VI. FASHION THEATER  (Retro collection, ethnic collection, future collection, modern style, know-how collection, etc.)
Performance duration: up to 10 minutes

Age categories:

  • up to 6 years

  • 20–25 years
  • 26+ years
  • Mixed age category

Festival requirements:

  • Each group must present 2 performances
  • Solo, duet, small forms - 1 performance
  • Music carriers: CD, flash drive, or mini-disc with high-quality sound

Awarding of participants:

At the end of the festival, a solemn awards ceremony will take place.
All groups will receive a commemorative diploma and cup from organizers.

Program:

Day 1

Arrival of participants and guests, transfer from Thessaloniki Airport (extra cost),
registration, accommodation at the hotel in Halkidiki after 14:00. Lunch.
Free time. Welcome evening, meeting with leaders. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2
Breakfast. Beach rest.

Lunch or Lunchboxes (depends on choosing the excursion)
Excursion by boat around the Athos Monastery Complex (extra cost).
Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3
Breakfast. Beach rest.

Lunch or Lunchboxes
Stage rehearsal.
Opening ceremony of the festival and performances on the Thessaloniki stage.
Awards ceremony. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4
Breakfast. Beach rest.

Lunch or Lunchboxes (depends on choosing the excursion)
Excursion to Aristotle Park (extra cost).
Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5
Breakfast. Beach rest. Free time.

Lunch
Farewell evening, disco for participants.
Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6
Breakfast.
12:00 — Check-out from the hotel.
Transfer to Thessaloniki Airport (extra cost).

Participation fee: 

  • 350 Euro per participant
For 25 participants, 1 leader stays free
(Leaders may stay in double rooms without extra charge.)

Participation fee does not include:

  • Festival fee for soloists, duets, and small forms: 
    • Solo & Duet: + 40 EUR (per person) 
    • Trio , Quartet, Quintet - 30 EUR(per person)
    • Small Groups (from 6 till 15 Persons) - 25 EUR (per person)
  • Additional hotel day: +70 € per person
  • Double room supplement: +15 € per person/day
  • Single room supplement: +50 € per person/day
  • Boat excursion (Athos): +25 € per person
  • Aristotle Park excursion: +10 € per person
