Participation Info
We invite you to come on the XX. International Folklore Festival in Italy-Rimini from 21.05 – 24.05.2026.
Participants are ensembles from Italy, Slovenia, Poland, Ukraine, Greece, Turkey, Serbia, Indonesia, India, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Croatia, Czech, Slovakia, Romania, Russia, Armenia, Lithuania, Latvia, Bulgaria, Hungary…
Festival Welcomes:

Cultural-art societies (ensembles).
General Rules:
Participation includes a Defile (parade) through the City of Rimini.
Performances by cultural-art societies.
Receiving of certificates and plaques.
An invitation letter is provided for visa purposes (visas are free for cultural-art societies with this letter).
Limit: 1 free additional seat for every 25 members.

Accommodation at 3-star Hotels in Rimini, divided into two price categories:
Category A Hotels (135 € fee):

Participation Fee:
135 € for accommodation in Category A Hotels.
145 € for accommodation in Category B Hotels.
(Based on 3 half-board services: breakfast and dinner).

3 half-board services: breakfast and dinner.
Rooms for 1/3 and 1/4 persons.
Organization expenses.
Degrees (Certificates/Plaques).

One additional seat (free) per 25 members.
Additional Costs (not included in the fee):
Supplement for 1/2 (double) rooms: 5 € per person, per night.
Tourist tax in Rimini: from 2.5 € per person per day (depending on hotel category, only for persons older than 16 years).
Additional day (half board): from 35 € – 45 € (depends on hotel).
Visa and insurance (note: visas are free with the invitation letter from the participating Italian society).
Facultative excursions (prices depend on the number of interested people).

Program Info
Day 1 (21.05):
Arrival of ensemble at hotel, accommodation.
Info appointment.
Tour and introduction to Rimini (walking, swimming, tour of the city, beaches).
Return to hotel.
Dinner.
Overnight stay. Possibility to go to discotheques.
Day 2 (22.05):
Breakfast.
Festival Day!
Preparing for and participating in the Defile (parade) through the city.
Performances.
Receiving of certificates and plaques.
Dinner.
Facultative: Discotheque.
Overnight stay.
Day 3 (23.05):
Breakfast.
Facultative half-day tour to San Marino: Tour of the oldest republic in the world (Monument of Garibaldi, Porta San Francesco, Square of Freedom).
Return to Rimini.
Dinner.
Facultative: Mutually-friendly night at Discotheque.
Overnight stay.
Day 4 (24.05):
Breakfast.
After breakfast, departure of ensemble.
Possibility for facultative tour to Venice, Verona, Padova, or Trieste.
Return to point of departure.

Excursion Info
Optional Excursions (extra paid – prices are estimates and depend on the number of participants):
Tour of San Marino: 20 € (10 € with own bus). Visit the oldest republic in the world, including the Monument of Garibaldi, Porta San Francesco, and the Square of Freedom.
Tour of Venice: 25 € (15 € with own bus).
Tour of Bologna: 15 € (10 € with own bus).
Discotheque: 10 – 15 €.
