INVITATION

We invite you to join us in the beautiful coastal town of Soverato, Calabria, Italy, for an International Summer Carnival Festival.

Soverato, in the stunning Calabria region, is known for its mild climate, over 3 km of golden beaches, and charming coastal atmosphere. This picturesque area offers a friendly, relaxing environment full of history and natural beauty, providing the perfect setting for vibrant parades and performances in parks and main squares.

This non-competitive festival, from 4–6 September 2026, is a celebration of color, music, and dance, offering a unique opportunity to experience Calabrian culture and share your traditions in a spectacular summer carnival setting.

 FESTIVAL WELCOMES

Marching Bands, Majorettes Groups, Bands with majorettes, Folk Groups, Carnival Groups, Dance Schools, etc.

 GENERAL RULES

Performances include two parades and shows in parks/main squares of Soverato. Groups arrange own transport to Italy. The organization can assist with airport transfers from Lametia Terme, Reggio Calabria, Crotone, Catania, or Bari airports at special rates.

 ACCOMMODATION INFO

Accommodation at a fantastic sea-side resort in Soverato.

Subsidised Participation Fee (including parade transfers) is €250 per adult (in double, triple, or quadruple rooms, subject to availability). Children up to 3 years are free. One free package for every 25 paying guests.

Package Includes: 3 nights accommodation at the resort, daily breakfast, daily lunch or dinner (drinks excluded), transfers for the Festa dei Colori parade, city tax, festival registration fee, and assistance by festival personnel.

Additional Info: Groups arriving by air can arrange special-rate transfers from listed airports. Extra nights can be arranged if required due to flight itineraries. Participation requires booking the festival accommodation package.

 PROGRAM INFO

Day 1 – Friday, 4 September 2026: Arrival in Calabria, transfer to the seaside resort. Dinner at the hotel. Late Evening: Spectacular show at the hotel with all groups.

Day 2 – Saturday, 5 September 2026: Breakfast at the hotel. Daytime: Free time at leisure or optional half-day excursions in Calabria. Lunch at the hotel. Evening: All groups perform in one of Soverato’s main squares.

Day 3 – Sunday, 6 September 2026: Breakfast at the hotel. Daytime: Free time at leisure or optional half-day excursions. Lunch at the hotel. Late Afternoon: Transfer to the Grand Parade of La Festa dei Colori 2026 in Soverato. End of parade: Official presentations to all groups by Local Authorities and Festival Organization.

Day 4 – Monday, 7 September 2026: Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and departure of all groups.

Optional Excursions (extra paid, can be arranged): Half-day tours to wonderful places in Calabria (available on Saturday and Sunday). Explore the rich history, landscapes, and cultural sites of the region.
