XXIV International Folklore Festival “Ethno Fest Belgrade”

INVITATION
We invite you to join us in the historic and vibrant capital of Serbia, Belgrade.
Belgrade, situated at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, is one of the oldest cities in Europe and a great urban center of the Balkan Peninsula. As the capital of Serbian culture, education, and science, it offers plenty of historical sites, cultural events, beautiful places for walking, and a famous vibrant nightlife.
This city provides the perfect stage for a memorable cultural exchange during the festival from 15–18 October 2026.
FESTIVAL WELCOMES
Folk dance ensembles, choirs, vocal groups, musical orchestras (all age groups).
GENERAL RULES
Participants will have 1 or 2 performances during the festival.
Bring the flag of your country and a board with the name of your group.
Provide your own music via orchestra or USB/CD.
Send the group’s history, 3–5 photos, and a video link via email.
Groups arrange their own transport. Local transfers can be arranged at the group’s cost.
All participants must have international health insurance.
ACCOMMODATION INFO
Accommodation in 3-star hotels in Belgrade.
Participation Fee:
89 EUR per person – 2 nights with bed & breakfast (rooms with 2 or 3 beds)
110 EUR per person – 3 nights with bed & breakfast (rooms with 2 or 3 beds)
Additional Costs:
Single room surcharge: 25 EUR per room per day
Tourist tax, insurance, and all other expenses not mentioned are not included.
Included by Organizers:
One free participation for every 25 paying persons (the 26th person is free). Drivers are included in the total count.
Invitation letter, participation, and organization expenses.
Diplomas, souvenirs, and an English-speaking guide.
PAYMENT & CONDITIONS INFO
Payment Procedure:
Approved groups pay a 10% guarantee fee in advance (deducted from the final payment).
Next, groups pay 20 EUR per person as a reservation fee (deducted from the final payment). Groups pay all bank taxes.
The remaining fee can be paid by bank transfer before arrival or in cash upon arrival.
Important Conditions:
If a group cancels less than 5 days before the festival, reservation expenses are non-refundable.
Group leaders are responsible for their group’s behavior and any damages caused.
The organizer reserves the right to video and photos, and to make changes to the program, notifying participants promptly.
By applying, you accept all festival conditions.

EXCURSION INFORMATION
Belgrade offers ample opportunity for sightseeing, with numerous historical and cultural attractions. On your arrival day and the second day of the festival, groups will have free time to explore the city. The vibrant nightlife and beautiful scenic spots along the Sava and Danube rivers are especially popular.
Optional excursions and guided tours are available at the group’s expense and can be arranged by the festival organizer upon request.
