VII International Dance Festival ''TROYA FEST''

INVITATION
We cordially invite folk and choral groups, orchestras, majorette teams, and children’s and youth groups to participate in the VI International “TROYA” Folk Dance and Music Festival, which will take place from July 1–5, 2026, in Çanakkale, Turkey.
This festival offers an exceptional opportunity for international groups to present their cultural heritage through traditional dances, music, and national costumes, set against the backdrop of one of Turkey’s most historically significant regions — the land of ancient Troy.
PARTICIPATION INFORMATION
The festival welcomes folklore groups, orchestras, majorettes, modern dance groups, choirs, and music bands from all over the world.
Each ensemble must prepare at least two dances, each lasting 8–12 minutes, accompanied by a USB or live orchestra.
Groups must bring a flag of their country and at least four gifts for municipal visits and organizers.
Participation is limited to three groups per country.
Each group must submit a short CV and a minimum of six photos by email, along with a list of participants including names, birthdates, gender, and passport numbers by May 1, 2026.
Participation is confirmed upon submission of the completed application form and agreement to the festival terms.
Groups must arrange their own transportation for arrival and departure.
ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION
Accommodation options are available in Çanakkale, including student dormitories and various hotels, all offering half-board meals (breakfast and dinner).
Student Dormitory
3 nights: 105 EUR per person
4 nights: 129 EUR per person
Room types: Leaders and drivers in double rooms, others in triple or quadruple rooms
Facilities: Private bathrooms in every room
Basic Hotels
3 nights: 119 EUR per person
4 nights: 149 EUR per person
Advanced Hotels
3 nights: 129 EUR per person
4 nights: 169 EUR per person
Additional night: 35–45 EUR per person
For every 25 participants, one group leader is free of charge.
Accommodation includes: professional stage and sound equipment, welcome cocktail reception, participation certificates, souvenirs and gifts, and drinks during performances.
Participation fee does not include transport, optional excursions, insurance, or any items not listed as included.

Day 1 (July 1):
14:00 – Arrival in Çanakkale, hotel check-in, free time
18:00–20:00 – Dinner at the hotel
21:00 – Welcome reception with group leaders
Day 2 (July 2):
07:00–10:00 – Breakfast
10:00–14:00 – Visit to Çanakkale city (guided or free time)
15:00–15:30 – Visit to the Municipality of Çanakkale
17:00–18:00 – Dinner at the hotel
19:00–21:00 – Official opening ceremony and ensemble parade
Day 3 (July 3):
07:00–10:00 – Breakfast
10:00–13:00 – Optional excursion to Troy or free time
17:30–18:30 – Dinner at the hotel
20:00 – Second festival evening
Day 4 (July 4):
07:00–10:00 – Breakfast
10:00–18:00 – Optional excursion to Gallipoli or Bozcaada Island, or free time
19:30–20:30 – Dinner at the hotel
21:00 – Closing ceremony, souvenir exchange, and final party
Day 5 (July 5):
07:00–10:00 – Breakfast
12:00 – Departure
EXCURSIONS INFORMATION
During the festival, participants will have the opportunity to explore the history and beauty of Çanakkale and its surroundings.
Day 2: Visit to Çanakkale city, including the Cordon, the Ancient Aynalı Çarşı Bazaar, and optional guided tours.
Day 3: Visit to Troy, the legendary ancient city of the Trojan War.
Day 4: Optional excursions to the Gallipoli Peninsula or Bozcaada Island, or enjoy free time for individual activities.
Optional excursions may require an additional payment for guides.
PAYMENT INFORMATION
A 10% guarantee fee is required in advance and will be deducted from the final payment.
A 20% payment is due upon booking accommodation.
The remaining balance must be paid before the festival or upon arrival, as agreed with the organizers.
An official invitation letter will be provided if needed.
