INVITATION

We invite you to the International Istanbul Dance and Music Competition and Festival in the magnificent transcontinental city of Istanbul. This vibrant metropolis, rich with history and culture, provides the perfect setting for cultural exchange and artistic celebration from 22-26 November 2026.

The festival welcomes folk dance groups, modern dance groups, singing ensembles, majorettes, and choruses. Participants must be 8 years old and above. Performances should last 5–15 minutes and may use USB or live music. All groups must secure their own medical insurance before attending the festival. Groups must send photos for the application and arrange their own transport to Istanbul. Transfers are available at an extra cost.

ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION

Participants will stay in a 3-star hotel in Istanbul. Rooms include 2–3 beds, a toilet, and a shower.

Participation Fee: 195 EUR for 4 nights and 5 days with half board (breakfast and dinner). Additional costs include a lunch pack at 10 EUR per person per day and extra day accommodation at 45 EUR per person.

Included by Organizers: One free leader for every 30 participants, two free for 45+ participants. Guidance services for excursions are provided. Hotel reservation is confirmed upon receipt of a 20% deposit of the total fee.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul at 16:00 and check-in. Evening free time, dinner, and meeting for group leaders.

Day 2: Morning breakfast. Daytime excursion to the Byzantine historic district, including the Blue Mosque, St. Sophia, Topkapı Palace, and Grand Bazaar. Evening dinner and performance at the municipal open-air stage.

Day 3: Morning breakfast. Daytime free for shopping or beach time at the Sea of Marmara. Evening festival performances at the municipal open-air stage, including cultural dance exchange.

Day 4: Morning breakfast. Daytime optional Bosphorus boat trip or shopping. Evening performance at the municipal open-air stage.

Day 5: Morning breakfast. Departure from Istanbul at 10:00.

Competition Fees per performance: Soloist 50 EUR per participant, Duet 40 EUR per participant, Trio 30 EUR per participant, Groups 15 EUR per participant.

EXCURSIONS INFORMATION

Special Bosphorus Boat Trip available for 20 EUR per person.
