XI International Istanbul Dance and Music Festival “ISTANBUL DAYS”

INVITATION
We invite you to participate in the upcoming International Festival taking place in Istanbul from 20 to 25 June 2025. This vibrant cultural event brings together dancers, musicians, and performers from around the world to share their art and traditions in one of the most historically rich and dynamic cities in Europe and Asia.
PARTICIPATION INFORMATION
Participants from a variety of disciplines are welcome, including Folk Dance, Modern Dance, Music (Ethnic, Choir, Folk), Traditional Children’s Street Games, Rhythmic Gymnastics, and Dance Theatre. There are no limitations on the number of participants or age restrictions for performers.
Arrival: Participants must arrive in Istanbul on Thursday, 20 June, with check-in starting at 14:00.
Departure: The check-out time is Tuesday, 25 June, at 11:00.
Performance Requirements: Each group should prepare a program lasting 8 minutes. Choir groups are required to prepare a maximum 10-minute program, and all groups will perform twice during the festival.
Music: Performers may use CDs or live music for their performances.
Performance Venues: The festival committee will decide the locations for performances, and outdoor concerts will be arranged according to weather conditions.
Stage Dimensions: All performances will take place on an open stage measuring 8 x 9 meters.
Flags: Each group is required to bring the national flag of their country.
Application: Groups must submit an application form and include five different pictures and one video showcasing their performances.
Fees: A 10% guarantee fee is required upon approval, which will be deducted from the final payment.
ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION
Standard Participation Fee: €160 per person, which covers 4 nights and 5 days in a 4-star hotel, including bed and breakfast.
Free Place: For every 26 people, 1 person will stay free (25 paying participants + 1 free).
Room Options:
Double Room: €53 per person, per day.
Single Room: €96 per person, per day.
Triple Room: Equipped with one French bed and one single bed.
Quadruple Room: Includes one French bed, one single bed, and one smaller extra bed.
Meals: Breakfast and dinner are provided by the festival committee.
Travel and Insurance: Each group is responsible for their travel arrangements, health insurance, and other insurances.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
Each group must prepare two performances, each lasting 8 minutes. Choir groups will perform for a maximum of 10 minutes per performance on two separate days.
The festival will be conducted in English, and a guide will be assigned to each group for the duration of the event.
EXCURSIONS INFORMATION
Participants will have the opportunity to join historical and tourist excursions during their free time. The festival committee will organize these trips and provide a guide for each group.
Local transportation between the festival venue and the hotel is included.
Airport transportation is at the group’s expense, but the festival committee can offer guidance for transportation arrangements.
Transportation for local sightseeing is the responsibility of the group, though the festival committee can assist with arrangements.
