Porto – the second largest Portuguese city. Its historic center is located on the banks of the River Douro, a couple of kilometers from the place where the river meets the Atlantic Ocean. The oldest settlement on the site of the present city of Porto were long before coming to this land of the Romans. Mix monuments by leading world architects from the past and the present, and some fantastic baroque carvings. Add a world-famous sweet wine and a certain British flavor. Place it all by a grand river, and you have "O Porto," the port, Porto -- Portugal's second largest metropolis, and one of Europe's most charismatic cities.

General Conditions:

There is no age limit or the number of participants and accompanying persons.

It is necessary to prepare two different program lasting max 15 minutes

The group need to bring their country’s flag and a performance at the decision of the organizers in conspicuous place. It is also necessary to visibly display panel (provided by organizers) which is inscribed with the name of your group and the country where you come from.

You can perform with orchestra (recommended) or CD track.

Moonligh Events organization reserves the right to change some of the conditions of the Festival due to the technical circumstances, up to 2 weeks before the festival, and about all of the above mentioned will notify to the group within 24 hours.

If you decide to participate on the event, you need to fill in the application for the festival and send it back. After we receive the application form from you, we will send you the official invitation letter for the participation on the festival. After the group receive the invitation letter, to confirm the registration, the group is obligated to pay the 30% of the total participation fee. For the participants that require visas for the arrival on the destination where the festival will be held, the deadline for the application is 45 days before the beginning of the festival.

Festival Program:

1 Day 10.04

• 14:00 Arrival to Porto. Accommodation in the selected accommodation unit. Free time for the individual activities.
• 19:00 Dinner
• 21:30 Meeting with the organizers and the other participants.
• Overnight.

2 Day 11.04

• 07:30 Breakfast
• 10:00 Press Conference / Meeting with the local ensembles, and the local authorities.
• 12:00 Optional Sightseeing Tour of Porto.
• 17:00 Dinner
• 18:30 Gathering of the groups. Defile.
• 19:30 Opening ceremony of the the festival. Performances of the groups
• (The detailed program of the festival and the order of appearances will be submitted to the groups on their arrival)
• 22:30 Optional going in the disco club/ Restaurant with the live music

3 Day 12.04

• 07:30 Breakfast
• 10:00 Optional visiting of the Serralves museum, The Cathedral, Palacio da Bolsa...
• 17:00 Dinner
• 19:30 Performances of the groups. Closing ceremony of the festival, plaque and diploma award, exchange of the presents between the groups and the organizers. End of the festival.
• 22:30 GoodbyeParty dinner in the restaurant with the live music (Optional)

4 Day 13.04

• 07:30 Breakfast
• 12:00 Departure groups. End of service
