INVITATION

We invite you to join us in the charming town of Şarkikaraağaç, Turkey, for a unique celebration of culture and art.

Şarkikaraağaç, nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Turkey, is known for its rich traditions, warm hospitality, and the famous Kızıldağ Halva. The festival will take place from 16 to 20 July 2025, offering a vibrant platform for cultural exchange and friendship among nations.

The festival welcomes folk dance groups, music ensembles, and cultural performers from children, youth, and adult groups.

Performances should last between six and eight minutes. Live music is preferred, though recorded music is also accepted. Each group is asked to bring their national flag and three gifts for exchange, as well as to send a short description of their group, six digital photos, and performance videos or links via email.

Groups are responsible for arranging their own international travel. Airport transfers will be provided from Antalya and Ankara.

ACCOMMODATION

Participants will be accommodated in high-quality hostels offering rooms with two, three, or four beds, all with private bathrooms.

The participation fee is 50 EUR per person for the entire festival duration and includes three meals per day.

The organizers provide airport transfers from Antalya and Ankara, a festival hat, t-shirt, and certificate for each participant, as well as 200 liters of diesel fuel for groups arriving by bus.

PROGRAM

A detailed daily program will be provided upon arrival in Şarkikaraağaç.

EXCURSIONS

Optional activities will be available and announced during the festival. These may include local tours highlighting Şarkikaraağaç’s cultural heritage and visits to nearby natural attractions.
