4–8 July 2025 | Çanakkale, Türkiye

Welcome to the VII International Troia Dance Festival & Competition, set in the legendary gateway to ancient Troy. We invite folk dance ensembles of all ages to share their traditions, compete in friendly spirit, and experience five days of cultural exchange against the breathtaking backdrop of Çanakkale’s historic shores.

 Participation Info

We welcome children’s, youth, and adult folk dance ensembles.

General Rules:

• Performances lasting 6–8 minutes (live music preferred, recorded music acceptable)
  
  
• Minimum of 2 different performances prepared by each group
  
  
• Each group must bring their national flag and 3 small gifts for exchange
  
  
• No limit on the number of participants per group
  

• Send via email: application form, 6 digital photos, group description, and performance videos/links

 Accommodation Info

Option 1: 3-star hotels (Temizay, Helen, Yurdakul)

• Participation fee: 190 € per person for 4 nights with half board (breakfast and dinner)
  
  
• Double room supplement: 10 €/person/day
  
  

• Single room supplement: 20 €/person/day

Option 2: High-quality private hostels (Kumru Suites, Tuna Kız Öğrenci Yurdu)

• Participation fee: 140 € per person for 4 nights with half board (breakfast and dinner)
  
  

• Rooms with 2–4 beds and private bathrooms

Additional Notes:

• One free participation for every 25 participants
  

• Tourist tax and insurance not included (if applicable)

Payment & Important Dates

• Deposit: 1 000 € (non-refundable) as confirmation of participation
  
  
• Balance: Due 15 days before the festival or upon arrival
