INVITATION

We are pleased to INVITE you to the World Cup of Folklore™ – Jesolo 2026, an extraordinary cultural event that forms part of the prestigious Folklore Championship System. This modern platform promotes and preserves the world’s rich folklore traditions while encouraging artistic excellence and friendly international competition.

Hosted in Jesolo, a beautiful coastal town near Venice, Italy, the festival offers participants an exceptional opportunity to perform on a global stage, exchange cultural traditions, and enjoy the warm Mediterranean atmosphere.


 FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS

This competitive event is held within the Folklore Championship System and welcomes both authentic and modern interpretations of folklore. It is open to ensembles and soloists who have achieved recognition in other festivals and wish to showcase their talent at an international level.

Categories include folklore songs, dances, and mixed ensembles. Participants can also enjoy cultural excursions to Venice, Verona, and nearby destinations.

Winners receive prestigious awards, including cash prizes, diplomas, medals, and complimentary video production of their performances.


 PROGRAM INFORMATION

Day 1 – Arrival in Jesolo
Arrival and hotel check-in.
Technical conference with group leaders.
Dinner and orientation meeting.

Day 2 – Opening Ceremony
Morning: Free time or optional excursions.
Lunch.
Evening: Opening Ceremony with performances and jury presentation.

Day 3 – Performances & Awards
Morning: Free time or optional excursions.
Lunch.
Evening: Closing Ceremony, awards presentation, and gala performances.

Day 4 – Departure
Breakfast and departure.

Note: The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the program if necessary.


 PARTICIPATION CATEGORIES

Folklore Song Groups – authentic or modern arrangements (choirs and ensembles).
Folklore Dance Groups – authentic or modern choreography (folk dance groups and ensembles).
Folklore Mixed Ensembles – combined vocal, instrumental, and dance performances (authentic or processed).

Age Divisions:
Children and Youth (up to 18 years, with up to 30% adults).
Adults (18+).

Performance Duration: Maximum 10 minutes per program.


 AWARDS & RECOGNITION

Grand Prize Winner – Voucher worth €1,000, diploma, and the title of Winner of the World Cup of Folklore™.
Category Champions – Golden medals and diplomas.
Second and Third Place – Silver and bronze medals with diplomas.
Special Awards – Cash prizes and free professional video production.
All Participants – Diplomas, laureate deeds, and commemorative gifts.


 ACCOMMODATION & FEES

For Groups (11+ participants):
Hotel** – €185 per person (3 nights, half board).
Hotel*** Basic – €195 per person (3 nights, half board).
Hotel*** Comfort – €215 per person (3 nights, half board).

For Individual Participants or Small Groups (up to 10 people):
Hotel** – €210 per person (3 nights, half board).
Hotel*** Basic – €230 per person (3 nights, half board).
Hotel*** Comfort – €260 per person (3 nights, half board).

Additional Fees:
Double room supplement – €7 per person/day.
Single room supplement – €20 per person/day.
Tourist tax – €1.50 per person/day.

Package Includes:
3 nights accommodation in 3- or 4-bed rooms with private bathrooms.
3 days half board (Italian breakfast and dinner with first and second courses, dessert, and water).
Festival participation fee.
Support and assistance from festival staff.

 REGISTRATION INFORMATION

To participate, please complete and submit the application form along with a short creative biography and group photos via email. A 30% advance deposit of the total cost is required to confirm participation.
Groups must also submit a list of participants, including names, birthdates, and passport details.


 CANCELLATION POLICY

Up to 60 days before arrival – No penalty.
59 to 15 days before arrival – Deposit withheld and an additional 30% penalty of the total booking cost applies.
In case of force majeure – The deposit may be transferred to future Sopravista festivals within three years.


 GENERAL CONDITIONS

Groups must provide proof of previous awards or achievements from other festivals.
Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from Jesolo.
Optional tours and airport transfers are available for an additional fee.
