INVITATION

With pleasure, we INVITE folk groups, choral groups, orchestras, and majorette teams (children, youth, and adult groups) to participate in the XXXII International Music & Dance Festival “OHRID MUSIC FEST,” taking place from June 20 to 24, 2026, in Ohrid.

The festival’s light motive is to present the cultural traditions of different countries and provide an opportunity for group members to come together, establish friendships, and showcase their cultures through dance and music.

 PARTICIPATION INFORMATION

General Rules:
The festival is a non-competitive showcase of traditional and modern dances, choral performances, and majorette displays. Participation is open to folklore, choral, and majorette teams, including children’s, youth, and adult ensembles.

Each country may send a maximum of three groups. Each group should consist of no more than 50 members, including dancers, managers, and musicians.

Each ensemble must prepare at least two dances, each lasting 10–15 minutes, with orchestra or USB accompaniment. Performances will occur in the evening, allowing daytime for sightseeing.

Groups are required to send a short CV and 2–3 photos of their team, bring a flag of their country, and arrange their own transport for arrival and departure.

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay during the festival, WOFA offers several accommodation options. Choose from top-tier city-center hotels or lakeside properties, each offering different board options to fit your needs.

Located 100 meters from Ohrid’s main square, offering 4-star comfort with double rooms and top-quality breakfast & dinner options. Rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Festival organizers provide: one free place for every 24 participants, souvenir and gift for each group, welcome cocktail, certificate for attendance, drinks during performances, guides for the festival, advertising via press release, social media, posters, and flyers.

INSURANCE: Personal responsibility and health insurance are the group’s responsibility. First Aid and medical services are available but must be covered by the group.

Tourist tax: 1€ per person/day.

Extended stay: 28€/day HB or 33€/day FB at Hotel Desaret with special festival program available.

Transport: Free transfer from Ohrid airport; transport from Skopje, Tirana, or Thessaloniki (200 km) can be arranged at additional cost. Visa assistance available.

 EXCURSIONS INFORMATION

Day 2: Sightseeing tour of Ohrid, including St. Sofia Church, Samoil Fortress, Antique Theatre, Plaosnik, St. Jovan Kaneo Church, and the Bridge of Wishes.

Day 3: Boat cruise on Ohrid Lake with a visit to St. Naum Monastery (lunch package included).

Day 4: Visit Struga City, including natural and cultural attractions. Shopping opportunities and optional workshops available.

Optional excursions available for extended stays.
