International Ethnik Folklore Festival “KATHMANDU”

INVITATION
We are delighted to invite all types of dancing and musical performance groups, including folk, classical, semi-folk & classical, fusion, ballet, marching bands, oriental dance groups, and more, to participate in the festival in Kathmandu, Nepal. Participants must be aged 8 and above. Groups can perform with live music or CD players. Each group is required to present 3-4 different folk dances, with programs lasting 10-15 minutes, performed twice daily at designated venues. Groups will also conduct 2 workshops and 1 road show during the festival. Travel arrangements, including flight tickets and travel insurance, are the responsibility of participants. Groups may extend their stay in Nepal through extra days and tourism services arranged with the organizer. Groups are not allowed to engage with other tour operators during the festival.
ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION
Accommodation packages are based on hotel category and number of nights. All options include meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), airport transfers, a Kathmandu tour, and certificates for all participants.
175 Euro per person (5th June – 9th June, 5 days/4 nights) in a 3-star hotel, triple sharing, 3 meals daily, certificates for all participants.
220 Euro per person (4th June – 9th June, 6 days/5 nights) in a 3-star hotel, triple sharing, 3 meals daily, airport transfers, Kathmandu tour, certificates for all participants.
240 Euro per person (4th June – 9th June, 5 days/4 nights) in a 4-star hotel, triple sharing, 3 meals daily, airport transfers, Kathmandu tour, certificates for all participants.
280 Euro per person (4th June – 9th June, 6 days/5 nights) in a 4-star hotel, triple sharing, 3 meals daily, airport transfers, Kathmandu tour, certificates for all participants.
Extra Charges:
Accommodation in double rooms: 3-star hotel 15€ per person, 4-star hotel 25€ per person.
Extra day per person: 3-star hotel 35€, 4-star hotel 45€.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
Day 1: Arrival of groups at Kathmandu & hotel check-in, lunch, rehearsals for the opening ceremony, dinner at hotel.
Day 2: Breakfast, rehearsal on stage/performance, lunch at hotel, official inauguration and performances by groups, dinner at hotel.
Day 3: Breakfast, workshops, lunch at hotel, performance by groups, dinner at hotel.
Day 4: Breakfast, workshops, lunch at hotel, performance by groups, dinner at hotel.
Day 5: Breakfast, Kathmandu tour, lunch at hotel, performance by groups, closing ceremony and gift exchange, dinner at hotel.
Day 6: Breakfast, Kathmandu tour, check-out.
Day 7: Breakfast, check-out.
EXCURSIONS INFORMATION
Kathmandu City Tour: Explore over 10 significant monuments and heritage sites, including Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Temple, Pashupatinath Temple, and more. A guided city tour is provided by the organizer.
Additional Tourism: Groups may arrange extra tourism with the organizer, who will assist with all additional travel services and sightseeing arrangements in Nepal. Groups are not allowed to engage with other tour operators while in Nepal on the organizer’s invitation.
