XXI International Festival for Dance & Songs POSTCARD FROM MONTENEGRO

INVITATION
With pleasure, we INVITE folk groups, choral groups, orchestras, majorette teams, and modern dance groups (children, youth, and adult ensembles) to participate in the XX International Festival for Dance & Songs “POSTCARD FROM MONTENEGRO,” taking place from July 08–12, 2026 in Bar, Sutomore, and Canj, Montenegro.
Participants include ensembles from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Ukraine, Turkey, Serbia, Bosnia, Romania, Slovenia, Italy, Sweden, Moldavia, Armenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, and Hungary.
GENERAL RULES
The festival is a non-competitive event featuring traditional and modern dances, choral groups, and majorette teams.
Children’s, youth, and adult ensembles are welcome.
Each group may consist of up to 50 members, including dancers, managers, and musicians.
Every ensemble should prepare at least two dances with a total program of 15 minutes, accompanied by orchestra or USB.
Performances will take place in the evenings, leaving daytime free for excursions and sightseeing.
Groups must provide a short CV, 2–3 photos, and bring their national flag.
Groups are responsible for their own transportation to and from the festival.
ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION
Participation fee:
135 Euro per person for 3 nights (Half Board – 2 meals per day, open buffet).
165 Euro per person for 4 nights (Half Board – 2 meals per day, open buffet).
199 Euro per person for 5 nights (Half Board – 2 meals per day, open buffet).
Accommodation will be in hotels such as Hotel Lovcen (Sutomore), Costelo, Hotel Adria (Bar), and Hotel Montenegro (Canj).
Drivers and leaders will be accommodated in double rooms. Additional double rooms cost 10 Euro per day per person.Additional single rooms cost 20 Euro per day per person.
Additional lunch: 16 Euro per person per day.
Festival organizers provide:
One free spot for every 25 participants.
Souvenir and gift for each group.
Welcome cocktail for group leaders.
Certificate of attendance.
Drinks during performances.
Festival advertising (press releases, social media promotion, posters, and flyers).
Insurance: Personal responsibility and health insurance must be arranged by the groups. First aid and hospital care will be available; costs must be covered by the groups.
Optional stay extension: 34 Euro per person per day (Half Board), special festival rate.
Tourist tax and insurance: 1.5 Euro per person per day (paid separately).

13:00 Arrival in Bar, hotel accommodation (swimming and sunbathing).
Meeting with the festival director.
19:00–20:00 Dinner in hotel.
20:00 Free time.
Day 2
09:00–10:00 Breakfast.
10:00–14:00 Budva sightseeing and boat trip to St. Stefan (optional, 10 Euro per person).
18:00 Dinner in hotel.
20:00–23:00 Ensemble parade and exchange of gifts on stage.
Day 3
09:00–10:00 Breakfast.
10:00–18:00 Beach time or optional excursions: Dubrovnik, Kotor, or Old Bar.
18:00–20:00 Dinner in hotel.
20:30–23:00 Festival presentation in Sutomore.
Day 4
09:00–10:00 Breakfast.
10:00–18:00 Beach time, free activities.
18:00–20:00 Dinner in hotel.
21:00–00:00 Free time.
Day 5
08:00–09:00 Breakfast.
11:00 Departure of participants.

COMMUNICATION STEPS
Step 1 — Apply
Fill out the online application form with your group details.
Step 2 — Confirmation
You’ll instantly receive an email confirming we got your application.
Step 3 — Application Number
Within 2 days you’ll receive your Application Number and required materials list.
Step 4 — Review
WOFA reviews your application and checks availability.
Step 5 — Acceptance
If accepted, you’ll receive an Invitation Letter and deposit instructions.
Deposit must be paid within 10 days.
Step 6 — Secure Your Spot
Send us your deposit confirmation. Your participation is officially confirmed.
Step 7 — Finalization
A WOFA coordinator will guide you through the final steps: participant list, travel details, and performance info.
