VII Lake Balaton Festival ''ST IVAN'S DAYS''

INVITATION
We are pleased to invite folklore groups, orchestras, majorettes, modern dance groups, and music bands from all over the world to participate in the International Festival at Lake Balaton, Hungary. This festival provides an opportunity for cultural exchange, performances on scenic stages, and unforgettable experiences in the beautiful surroundings of Lake Balaton.
PARTICIPATION INFORMATION
Participants: Soloists, groups, ensembles, and majorettes from all genres.
Age Groups: All ages are welcome.
Performance Requirements: Each group should prepare performances according to festival guidelines. Live or recorded music is acceptable.
Application Requirements: Submit application form via email.
Participation Fee Includes: Participation in festival concert, accommodation, half-board meals, diplomas, gifts, organizational expenses, free entry to the local beach.
Participation Fee Does Not Include: Transport, optional programs, insurance, tourist tax (2 EUR/person/day, payable on-site).
ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION
Youth Hostel:
Cost: 149 EUR per person for quadruple rooms with shared bathrooms.
Double room supplement: 10 EUR/person/day (maximum 2 double rooms per group).
4** Hotel – Admirál Family Resort**
Cost: 185 EUR per person in triple or quadruple rooms.
Double room supplement: 15 EUR/person/day.
3* Hotels – Abbázia Club Hotel**
Cost: 189 EUR per person.
Apartments for 4 people:
Features a double living/sleeping area with a double sofa bed and a double bed.
Supplement: 8 EUR/person/day for 2 persons; 20 EUR/person/day for 1 person.
Additional Days: Available on request; prices depend on accommodation type.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
Day 1: Afternoon arrival at the hotel, meeting with group leaders and festival organizers. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 2: Breakfast. Optional boat trip on Lake Balaton. Free time at the beach or visiting local sights such as Festetics Palace, Pethő House, Synagogue, Gothic Parish Church, Georgikon Grange Museum, Balatoni Museum, Helikon Memorial, or Szigliget Castle. Evening performance at the Music Pavilion of Keszthely, with diploma and gift presentation. Free time in Keszthely.
Day 3: Breakfast. Optional activities: sunbathing, swimming, wine-tasting, visiting museums (Doll Museum, Surber’s Museum of Automatic Musical Instruments and Phonographs, Historical Panopticon, Georgikon Farm History Museum). Sightseeing with Nostalgia Train. Dinner. Free evening for exploration.
Day 4: Breakfast. Departure of participants.
EXCURSIONS INFORMATION
Optional excursions will be provided upon arrival, allowing participants to explore the cultural and historical attractions of Lake Balaton and surrounding towns.
