XXVI International Music & Dance festival “PARALIA PARADISE”

INVITATION
With pleasure, we invite folk ensembles, choral groups, art schools, majorette teams, orchestras, ballroom dance groups, and brass bands — including children, youth, and adult groups — to participate in the XXVI International Music & Dance Festival “PARALIA PARADISE”, taking place from 26–30 August 2025 in Paralia, Katerini, Greece.
The festival aims to present the cultural traditions of different countries and provide an opportunity for members of groups to come together, establish friendships, and showcase their culture through dance and music. It is open to folk and choir ensembles, orchestras, and majorettes, regardless of members’ gender and age.
General Rules
The festival is a non-competitive showcase of traditional and modern dances and music performed by groups.
Participation is limited to three groups from each country.
Each group may consist of a maximum of 70 members, including dancers, managers, musicians, and family members.
Each ensemble should prepare at least two folk dances for a total performance time of 15–20 minutes with orchestra or USB. Choral groups should prepare a free program of about 15 minutes.
Performances will be held in the evening, allowing for daytime excursions.
Participants should send a short CV and photos of their group.
Groups should bring a flag representing their country.
Each group must arrange their own transportation for arrival and departure.
Accommodation Information
Festival participants will be accommodated in hotel apartments such as Rainbow Resort, Pasion, Kronos, Xenia Zeus, Ifigenia, Despina, Bambus, and similar properties.
Participation Fees
129 EUR per person for 3 half-board meals (4 days / 3 nights).
155 EUR per person for 4 half-board meals (5 days / 4 nights).
189 EUR per person for 5 half-board meals (6 days / 5 nights).
All double and single rooms are available upon request. Multiple-bed accommodations are assigned based on availability.
Additional double rooms available at 12 EUR per person per day.
Additional single rooms available at 40 EUR per person per day.
The fee covers hotel accommodation with 2 meals per day in triple and quadruple rooms.
A tourist tax of 2 EUR per person per day will apply as an additional charge.
Festival Organizers Provide
One free participant for every 25 dancers (e.g., 24+1, 48+2).
Souvenirs and gifts for each group.
Certificates of attendance.
A welcome reception for group leaders.
Free parking.
Advertising for the festival via press releases, social media, flyers, and posters.
Insurance
Personal responsibility and health insurance are the responsibility of the groups. First aid and medical services will be available.
Extended Stay Information
Participants may continue their stay in Paralia at a special festival rate of 45 EUR per day per person (half-board).

13:00 Arrival in Paralia, hotel accommodation, and free time (beach).
18:00–19:00 Dinner at the hotel.
21:00 Welcome meeting with group leaders and free time in Paralia.
Day 2 (27 August):
08:00–10:00 Breakfast.
09:00–16:00 Boat excursion.
18:00–19:00 Dinner at the hotel.
21:00–22:00 Welcome meeting with group leaders, Aloha Beach Party.
Day 3 (28 August):
07:00–09:00 Breakfast.
10:00–16:00 Beach time or optional excursions.
19:00–21:00 Dinner at the hotel.
19:30–23:00 Festival evening on the square.
Day 4 (29 August):
09:00–11:00 Breakfast.
11:00–17:00 Beach time or visit Meteora.
18:00–19:00 Dinner at the hotel.
21:00 Free time.
Day 5 (30 August):
09:00–10:00 Breakfast.
10:30 Departure.
Excursion Information
Day 2: Boat excursion in the blue waters of Thermaikos Gulf including:
Departure from the port of Paralia at 09:00.
A 30-minute swimming stop near Plaka.
Visit to Variko Beach for lunch (grilled fish, Greek salad, beverages) and leisure.
Return to the port of Paralia by 15:30.
Day 3: Optional visits to Thessaloniki or Katerini.
Day 4: Option to visit Meteora, a famous historical site.
Additional days and optional festival evenings may be arranged upon request.
