   With pleasure we INVITE you (Folk and Choral groups, orchestras, majorette teams), (children and youth groups) to participate on IV  INTERNATIONAL FOLKLORE FESTIVAL IN KUSADASI” 15 - 20 August Kusadasi,Turkey.

Ensembles from India, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Greece, Turkey, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovenia, Montenegro, North Macedonia are taking part…

Program:

MONDAY, August 15

Arrival in Kusadasi, the center of tourism of Aegean Turkey, is expected around noon. Accommodation in a hotel of your choice. Free time in the afternoon for activities at the hotel pool or on the beach.  Dinner. Overnight stay.
TUESDAY, August 16

Breakfast. After breakfast, the possibility of an optional excursion to Ephesus. One of the largest and most impressive archeological sites in the world is located near Kusadasi. This tour takes you to the magical world of antiquity, incredible achievements and the development of civilization. Ancient roads, palaces, pillars, the Celsius Library and the great amphitheater is just a small part of what you can see in Ephesus. The Temple of Artemis used to be nearby, the largest in the world in its time, it was one of the 7 wonders of antiquity. Return to the hotel. Free afternoon on the beach. Dinner. Overnight stay.

WEDNESDAY, August 17

Breakfast. After breakfast the possibility of an optional excursion to Bodrum. One of the most important tourist cities in Turkey is proud of its rich history and the foundations of one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world, the famous Mausoleum of Halicarnassus. There is also an ancient amphitheater, windmills on the hill representing the symbol of the city, St. Peter's Fortress built by the Crusaders, which is now an exceptional museum, and the most beautiful marina in this part of Turkey with many yachts. The beautiful historical center with many small streets dominated by white facades, is full of souvenir shops, cafés and restaurants ... The spirit and charm of Greece in this part of Turkey is visible at every step. Free time for numerous activities and swimming at the main beach of Bodrum. Return to Kusadasi. Dinner. Overnight stay.  

THURSDAY, August 18

Breakfast. Free time during the morning hours. Preparations for a performance and a sound rehearsal. Welcome Coctail for the Folklore groups represantatives. Opening Ceremony of the International Folklore Festival in Kusadasi. Performance of cultural and artistic societies. Awards ceremony with diplomas. Facultative: mutually– friendly night.Dinner. Overnight stay.

FRIDAY, August 19

Brekfast. Time for water sport on of the famous beaches in beautiful Kusadasi, free time for sightseeing of Kusadasi, shopping.. Dinner. Overnight stay.

FRIDAY, August 19. Breakfast. Leaving the hotel. Departure from Kusadasi. Interested groups have the option to visit Izmir, the largest city of the Turkish Aegean, the third largest city in Turkey. Izmir is known by the ancient name Smyrna and to this day it is crowned by the Greek Agora and other monuments from that period, as well as many buildings from the Byzantine era and Turkish traditional architecture ... The Clock Tower and Konak Square represent the heart of the old city. Free time for lunch and individual activities. Departure from Izmir in the afternoon.   
SATURDAY, August 20

Breakfast. Leaving the hotel. Departure from Kusadasi. Interested groups have the option to visit Izmir, the largest city of the Turkish Aegean, the third largest city in Turkey. Participation fee:

  • 175 Euro per person (4 HB)
  • 210 Euro per person (5 HB)
    • (payment is made in several monthly installments until departure in dinar equivalent)

Participation fee includes:

  • Hotel accomodation with three stars Hotel“s like Hotel Flora Suites *** in Kusadasi based on 4 or 5 half board service: breakfast and dinner in 1/3 and 1/4 rooms, supplement for 1/2 rooms is 5 e per person per night
  • Certficates and Plaquas
  • Inviting letter
  • Additional seat on every 25 member

Participation fee doesn't include:

  • Facultative tours like: tour of Bodrum 20 €, Efes 15 € (with tickets for the archeological site), Izmir 10 €...   - the price of tour depends exclusively on number of interested to some of the tours
  • Additional day (half board) is 25 euro per person
  • Insurance   
  • Parking, tools, tranport costs..

Аll ensembles must provide their own music, leading orchestar or music CD s. Each ensemble is obligated to set performance in duartion of 10 – 15 minutes
