INVITATION

We are delighted to invite you to the International Folklore Festival in Crawley, England, taking place from TBA – 5 days / 4 nights, 2026.

This festival brings together folk dance groups, folklore instrumentalists, and choral ensembles from around the world to celebrate cultural heritage, music, and dance. Participants will have the opportunity to perform, exchange traditions, and enjoy the historic and vibrant surroundings of Crawley, London, and Brighton or Arundel Castle.


 PARTICIPATION INFORMATION

Eligibility:
Open to folk dance groups, folklore instrumentalists, and choral ensembles.
Participants must be 12 years and older, with a maximum group size of 40 people.

Performance Requirements:
Each group will perform a 30-minute free program and a 5-minute performance at the opening ceremony. Groups must bring their national flags and a visible panel with the group name. Small gifts for cultural exchange are recommended. Groups must also provide a brief history, photos, and promotional materials for advertising.

Application Process:
Submit a completed application form. A 10% guarantee fee is required upon approval and will be deducted from the final payment. The final payment deadline is 1 April 2026.


 ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION

Participation Fee (5 days / 4 nights in 3-star hotels, B&B):
Triple room: €400 per person
Double room: €450 per person
Single room: €500 per person

Special Offer: One free spot for a group leader (for groups of 20+ participants).

Included in the Fee:
Festival organization and implementation.
5-minute opening ceremony performance.
30-minute performance at Hawth Amphitheatre Main Stage.
Excursions to Brighton or Arundel Castle and London.
Diplomas and certificates for all participants.
Accommodation and breakfast.
Free bus parking.
Group photo upon departure.
Transfers from Gatwick Airport to the hotel.

Optional Costs:
Guided tour of Arundel Castle.
Extra nights upon request.
Dinners for groups: £20 per person.

Not Included:
Flights and travel insurance.
Responsibility for personal belongings.
Domestic transfers.


 PROGRAM INFORMATION

Day 1 – Arrival & Welcome
Check-in at the hotel.
20:00–22:00: International Fellowship Evening “Do I Know You?” and welcome meeting with group leaders.

Day 2 – Crawley Visit & Opening Ceremony
07:00–09:00: Breakfast at the hotel.
10:00–15:00: Visit to Crawley Museum & Town.
18:00–21:00: Performance & Opening Ceremony at St. Nicholas Church.

Day 3 – London Excursion & Performances
07:00–09:00: Breakfast at the hotel.
09:00–22:00: Full-day excursion to London.
19:00–21:00: Performance at “Light of the World” Church.
19:00–20:00: Presentation of Countries (5-minute performances by each group).
20:00–21:00: Special Guest Performance.

Day 4 – Brighton or Arundel Castle
07:00–10:00: Breakfast at the hotel.
10:00–18:00: Excursion to Brighton or Arundel Castle.

Day 5 – Departure
07:00–10:00: Breakfast and check-out. Departure of groups.

Note: The organizer reserves the right to modify the program for the benefit of participants.
