INVITATION

We are pleased to invite folk, modern dance, music, choir, and other performance groups (children, youth, and adult ensembles) to participate in the International Festival in Istanbul, Turkey, from June 27 to July 1, 2026. This festival provides a wonderful opportunity for groups to share their cultural heritage, showcase their artistic talents, and enjoy Istanbul’s rich history and vibrant atmosphere.


 PARTICIPATION INFORMATION

The festival is open to an unlimited number of participants per group. Performances may use live music or CD tracks. Each group must prepare one performance of up to 8 minutes, while choir groups may perform for up to 10 minutes. Performances will take place in open-air venues with a stage size of 8 x 9 meters. All groups must bring their national flags. There are no age restrictions for participants.

Permitted performance categories include Folk Dance, Modern Dance, Music (Ethnic, Choir, Folk), Traditional Children’s Street Games, Rhythmic Gymnastics, and Dance Theatre.

A festival guide will be assigned to each group. The official festival language is English. Local transportation between the hotel and festival venues will be arranged by the committee. Airport transfers are available at €30 per person (round trip). Additional transport assistance can be provided upon request.

The festival committee may adjust schedules based on weather conditions, and historical and sightseeing trips will be available during free time.


 ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION

Accommodation is provided in 4★ hotels (Hilton Garden Inn or Hilton Hampton).

Bed & Breakfast (Triple Room): €180 per person for the festival duration.
Double Room: €50 per person per night.
Single Room: €90 per person per night.

Triple rooms include one French bed and one single bed. For every 25 paying participants, 1 participant stays free (25+1).

Travel, health, and other insurances are the responsibility of each group.

Groups must submit 5 photos and 1 performance video for application. A first deposit of 10% is required. A €1,000 deposit must be paid by March 15, 2026, to confirm participation.

Payments are made in cash at hotel check-in.


 PROGRAM INFORMATION

The detailed festival program will be provided upon arrival to ensure that all participants are fully informed and prepared for the scheduled events.


 EXCURSIONS INFORMATION

Optional historical city visits are available before or after the festival. Possible destinations include Bursa, Antalya, Side, Pamukkale, and Cappadocia. These excursions provide participants with a chance to explore Turkey’s rich heritage and scenic landscapes.
