XXI International Folklore Festival ''ETHNO FEST BELGRADE''

INVITATION
We are delighted to invite Folk Dance Ensembles, Choirs, Vocal Groups, and Musical Orchestras of all ages to participate in the upcoming festival in Belgrade, Serbia. This festival offers a unique opportunity to showcase your cultural traditions, engage in international exchange, and enjoy the vibrant history and beauty of Belgrade.
PARTICIPATION INFORMATION
Eligible participants include Folk Dance Ensembles, Choirs, Vocal Groups, and Musical Orchestras. The festival is open to participants of all ages. Groups must provide their own music, either with a live orchestra or via USB/CD. Each group is encouraged to bring their country’s flag and a board displaying the group’s name. Submission of the application form confirms agreement with all festival regulations. Group leaders are responsible for the conduct of participants, and any damages incurred during the festival are the responsibility of the group. All participants must have international health insurance. The festival organizer reserves the right to use video and photos of participants and to make changes to the program with prior notification.
ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION
Participants will be accommodated in 3-star hotels. Room rates are as follows: 89 EUR per person for rooms with 2, 3, or 4 beds, and 110 EUR per person for rooms with 2 or 3 beds. Accommodation includes two half-board meals (breakfast and dinner). Every 26th participant stays free of charge (25 paying + 1 free), and drivers are included in the total number of persons.
Payment Details: Approved groups must pay a 10% guarantee fee in advance, deducted from the final payment. A reservation deposit of 20 EUR per person is required and also deducted from the final payment. The remaining participation fee can be paid in cash upon arrival. All bank fees are covered by the group. Cancellations made less than five days before the festival will forfeit the reservation deposit.
Included: Invitation letter, festival participation, organization expenses, diplomas and souvenirs, English-speaking guide.
Not Included: Transportation expenses (optional bus arrangements available at extra cost), insurance, local transfers, optional tours, drinks not included in half-board, other personal expenses, damages caused by participants.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
Day 1: Arrival after 13:00, hotel accommodation, and meeting with group leaders. Free time for sightseeing. Dinner and free evening.
Day 2: Breakfast followed by free time for sightseeing and lunch. Evening performance by participating groups.
Day 3: Breakfast and departure from accommodation.
Groups may extend their stay in Belgrade at their own expense; arrangements can be made through the festival organizer.
EXCURSIONS INFORMATION
Belgrade offers numerous historical and cultural attractions. On arrival and the second day of the festival, participants will have free time to explore the city, including the Sava and Danube rivers and the vibrant nightlife. Optional excursions and guided tours are available at the group’s expense and can be arranged by the festival organizer.
