INVITATION

Welcome to the XXII International Music & Dance Festival “BUDVA MUSIC FESTIVAL,” organized by Z.S. & WOFA. This non-competitive gathering brings together folk ensembles, modern dance groups, choral groups, orchestras, brass bands and majorette teams for four days of shared culture, performance and coastal discovery.


Festival Highlights

  • Open to folk ensembles, modern dance groups, choral groups, orchestras, brass bands and majorette teams
  • Evening performances in Budva, Kotor and Herceg Novi leave days free for sightseeing
  • Max. three groups per country; up to 70 participants (performers + managers) per ensemble
  • Every Folklore, Choral group, modern dance, majorette Teams, orchestras has the right to participate. Children’s ensembles (2/3 of the participants must be 16 or younger), Youth ensembles (2/3 of the participants must be 25 or younger), Adult ensembles (1/3 of the participants must be older than 25).

Participation Details

Eligibility

Every Folklore, Choral group, modern dance, majorette Teams, orchestras has the right to participate. Children’s ensembles (2/3 of the participants must be 16 or younger), Youth ensembles (2/3 of the participants must be 25 or younger), Adult ensembles (1/3 of the participants must be older than 25).

  • Each group presents at least two pieces (10–15 min each) with USB track or live-orchestra accompaniment
  • Groups must supply their own transport for arrival and departure

Participation Fee

Festival Package (Half Board)

  • € 115 per person – 3 nights (2 meals/day)
  • € 150 per person – 4 nights (2 meals/day)
  • € 185 per person – 5 nights (2 meals/day)

  • Accommodation and half-board meals
  • Transfers from airport/harbor to hotel and to all performances
  • Festival registration, welcome cocktail, souvenir and certificate

Additional Costs

  • Double-room supplement: € 10 per person per day
  • Additional stay:€35
  • Montenegro tourist tax & insurance: € 1.50 per person per day
  • Bus parking is additionally paid
  • One free package per 30 dancers, two free packages for 60 dancers.
  • Transportation: for groups who are coming by plane, we can arrange transport from (Tivat or Podgorica airport) to Budva. (Paid additionaly)

 


Insurance

  • Personal responsibility and health insurance are within the other obligations of the groups. First Aid and medical hospital services will be available; medical costs must be covered by the group.
  • On your request, you can continue your stay in Budva at € 35 per day per person HB – a special rate for festival participants.
  • After groups arrive at the hotel, they will receive a detailed program of the festival and each group will have a dedicated guide throughout the event.

Day 1

  • 13:00 Arrival in Budva & hotel check-in (swim, sunbathe)
  • 19:00 Dinner at hotel
  • 21:00 Welcome reception

Day 2

  • 08:00–10:00 Breakfast (open buffet)
  • 10:00–14:00 Budva sightseeing + St. Stefan boat cruise
  • 17:30 Dinner at hotel
  • 20:00 Defilé & performances in Budva Old Town

Day 3

  • 09:00–10:00 Breakfast
  • 10:00–18:00 Kotor tour / Dubrovnik excursion / beach time
  • 18:00 Dinner at hotel
  • 20:00 Festival evening: certificates & gift exchange

Day 4

  • 08:00–10:00 Breakfast
  • 10:00–18:00 Excursions: Kotor, Herceg Novi, Boka Bay cruise, Sv. Stefan, Aqua Park or beach
  • 19:00 Dinner at hotel
  • 21:00 Free time (discotheque/restaurant)

Day 5

  • 09:00 Breakfast
  • 11:00 Departure of participants

Step 1 — Apply

Fill out the online application form with your group details.

Step 2 — Confirmation

You’ll instantly receive an email confirming we got your application.

Step 3 — Application Number

Within 2 days you’ll receive your Application Number and required materials list.

Step 4 — Review

WOFA reviews your application and checks availability.

Step 5 — Acceptance

If accepted, you’ll receive an Invitation Letter and deposit instructions.

Deposit must be paid within 10 days.

Step 6 — Secure Your Spot

Send us your deposit confirmation. Your participation is officially confirmed.

Step 7 — Finalization

A WOFA coordinator will guide you through the final steps: participant list, travel details, and performance info.

Due to the exclusive location in the Old Town of Budva, stage is not allowed.
