INVITATION

With pleasure, we invite Folk Ensembles, Choral Groups, Ballroom Dance Teams, Art Schools, Music Theatre, Modern Dance Teams, Orchestras, and Majorette Teams (children and youth groups) to participate in the XI International Music & Folk-Dance Festival “Mama Mia Fest” from September 06–10 on the stunning island of Skiathos, Greece. Skiathos is renowned for its pine forests, spacious beaches with fine sand, and crystal-clear sea. It covers an area of 50 km², with over 60 sandy and clean beaches, including Lalaria, Koukounaries, Banana, Megali Ammos, Eleni, Vromolimnos, and more.

GENERAL RULES
Open to children’s, youth, and adult folklore groups, contemporary dance groups, vocal groups, majorette teams, and instrumental groups.
No age limit for participants.
Limited to three groups per country.
Each group should consist of at least 50 members, including dancers, managers, and musicians.
Ensembles must prepare at least two performances of 10–15 minutes (vocal groups: 15–20 minutes) with orchestral or USB accompaniment. Performances will be in the evening, leaving time for daytime excursions and visits to historic sites.
Groups must send a short biography and 2–3 photos by post and bring their national flag.
Groups are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the festival.

ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION
Participation Fee:
€159 per person for 4 nights with breakfast (BB)
€189 per person for 5 nights with breakfast (BB)
Dinner can be added for €20 per person per night
All double and single rooms are available upon request. Multiple-bed accommodations are assigned based on availability

Additional Options:
Extra night stay: €45 per person / per night
Double room supplement: €12 per person / per night
Single room supplement: €30 per person / per night
Accommodation is in 3-star hotels, located 800 meters from the city center, in double (leaders and drivers), triple, and quadruple rooms

Free bus parking
Organizers can arrange discounted ferry transportation
Additional costs include a tourist tax and insurance fee of €2 per person/day

Detailed festival programs will be provided upon arrival, along with guides to assist each group throughout the event. After the festival concludes, participants will have access to photos and videos.

21:00–01:00 – Optional Greek night

21:00 – Free time in Skiathos

COMMUNICATION STEPS

STEP 1 — APPLY
Fill out the online application form with your group details.

STEP 2 — CONFIRMATION
You’ll instantly receive an email confirming we got your application.

STEP 3 — APPLICATION NUMBER
Within 2 days you’ll receive your Application Number and required materials list.

STEP 4 — REVIEW
WOFA reviews your application and checks availability.

STEP 5 — ACCEPTANCE
If accepted, you’ll receive an Invitation Letter and deposit instructions. Deposit must be paid within 10 days.

STEP 6 — SECURE YOUR SPOT
Send us your deposit confirmation. Your participation is officially confirmed.

STEP 7 — FINALIZATION
A WOFA coordinator will guide you through the final steps: participant list, travel details, and performance info.

EXCURSIONS INFORMATION
Participants can enjoy various tourist activities and excursions (available for an additional fee), including visits to nearby islands with breathtaking beaches by boat or bus, tours of monasteries, museums, and churches, organized Greek night parties, photo opportunities under an international landing aircraft, diving experiences with chances to spot dolphins, turtles, fish, and corals. Group ferry transportation can be arranged by the organizers. Assistance with transportation from Thessaloniki Airport is available for groups arriving by plane (costs to be covered by the group).
