INVITATION

We are delighted to invite you to participate in the XI International Cappadocia Festival, taking place from July 11–15, 2026, in the enchanting region of Cappadocia, Turkey.

The festival welcomes folk ensembles, choral groups, ballroom dance teams, modern dance groups, art schools, orchestras, music theatres, and majorette teams, including children and youth groups. This event provides an exceptional opportunity for cultural exchange, artistic expression, and immersion in Cappadocia’s unique landscapes.

 


 PARTICIPATION INFORMATION

Eligibility & Performance Rules:
There is no limit on the number of participants per group.
Performances may use live music or USB recordings. Choirs may perform up to 20 minutes; other groups perform 3–10 minutes.
All groups must bring their national flags.
Performances will take place on 10×12-meter concrete stages in open-air venues designated by the festival committee.
The festival language is English, and each group will have a personal guide.
Groups must submit five photos and one video showcasing their performances prior to arrival.


 ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION

Participants will stay in 4-star hotels on a half-board basis (breakfast and dinner).

Participation Fee: €180 per person for 4 nights.

Room Rates (per night):
Double room: €49
Single room: €90

For every 25 dancers, one group leader receives a free pass.

13:30–15:30: Pottery workshop at Avanos Çömlek Evi
16:00–16:30: Visit to Göreme Municipality Mayor
17:00–18:00: Dance and music rehearsals
18:00–19:00: Dinner
19:15–19:45: Parade in traditional costumes
20:00–21:30: Evening performance (8 minutes per group)
21:30–22:00: Free time in Göreme
22:00: Return to hotel

Day 2
08:00–09:00: Breakfast
09:00–10:00: Free time
11:00–13:30: Tours of Zelve and Paşabağ
14:00–16:00: Tours of Çavuşin and Avanos
16:00–17:30: Free time
18:30–19:00: Dinner
20:00–21:30: Evening performance (8 minutes per group)
21:30–22:00: Free time
22:30: Return to hotel

Day 3
08:00–09:00: Breakfast
10:00–13:00: Free time at Forum Shopping Center
14:00–18:00: Tour of Uçhisar Castle and panoramic Cappadocia views
18:30–19:00: Dinner
20:00–21:30: Evening performance (8 minutes per group)
21:30–22:00: Free time
22:30: Return to hotel

Day 4
08:00–09:00: Breakfast
09:00–12:00: Tour of Ürgüp (including Üç Güzeller and Turasan Wine Factory)
12:30–17:00: Free time
18:30–19:00: Dinner
20:00–21:30: Evening performance (8 minutes per group)
21:30–22:00: Free time
22:30: Return to hotel

Day 5
08:00–09:00: Breakfast
10:00: Group departure


 EXCURSIONS INFORMATION

Participants will explore the unique cultural and historical attractions of Cappadocia:

Day 1: Pottery workshop at Avanos Çömlek Evi; visit to Göreme Mayor.
Day 2: Tours of Zelve, Paşabağ, Çavuşin, and Avanos.
Day 3: Free time at Forum Shopping Center; Uçhisar Castle panoramic tour.
Day 4: Trip to Ürgüp, including Üç Güzeller and Turasan Wine Factory.

Optional activities include hot-air balloon rides, as well as guided tours of Cappadocia’s fairy chimneys, rock-cut churches, and underground cities.

This festival promises a memorable cultural experience combining performance, sightseeing, and international exchange in one of Turkey’s most iconic regions.
