XII. INTERNATIONAL FOLK FESTIVAL IN MARMARIS

We INVITE YOU (folklore ensembles, choirs, majorette teams) to participate on our wonderfull fetsival in Marmaris - famoues tourist place in Turkey.
 
The aim of the organizers is to make bridge between the cultures. Every year we are hosting different countries in our festivals. Festivals that focus on cultural or specifically ethnic topics also seek to inform members of their traditions and the involvement of community elders sharing stories and experience provides a means for unity among families. We have a big honour with meeting new friends. 
Since 2006, we were organizing 63 international folk festival. When we announced our festivals we said “ We are waiting all over the World to our festival”. We hosted nearly 11.000 folk friends from Macedonia, Serbia, T.R.N.C., Kabardin Balkaria, Czech Republic, Georgia, Bulgaria, Greece, Kosovo, Republic of Ingushetia, Montenegro, Romania, Jordan, Latvia, Russia, Indonesia, Lithuania, Hungary, Mexico, India, Yakutia Republic, North Osetia in our 63 festivals. “...As in your Dreams.”
History of Marmaris
Marmaris - the crossroad of the aegean and mediterranean seaspart of the mediterranean sea between neighbours turkey and greece is the aegean sea. this is how the two neighbours refer to the part the mediterranean between them. the aegean sea is connected to the black sea by çanakkale and İstanbul straits. A frequently asked question; “Where is the beginning and end of the mediterranean and aegean seas?”
The answer is : Marmaris

Participants:  

  • Folk Dance Groups
  • Modern Dance Groups
  • Pop Dance Groups
  • Choral Groups
  • Music Bands
  • Orchestras
  • Majorettes

Participating conditions are:

  1. Each country can participate with one group for per category.(folk dance,pop dance,modern dance,choir,majorettes,orchestra)
  2. The commitee won’t pay any fee to groups for attending the organization.
  3. The group should be in Muğla  -Marmaris on 9 May 2018 and the departure date is 13 May  2018 after breakfast.
  4. The number of group not limited for person,including the manager, leader musicians ,drivers and dancers.
  5. The age of dancers are not limited in the participant group.
  6. Performances should be either 5- 10-15 min.
  7. The groups may perform with live music or a Cd.
  8. The groups should come with their national flags.
  9. The participate’s group list which contains dancers, musicians, leaders, driver’s age and sex should be send to us before 1 April 2020
  10. If group will arrive by plane to Dalaman Airport, transfer(Airport-Hotel,Hotel-Airport,transfer during the festival) will be 500 Euro.It will organizing by commitee

Departure

Participation fee:

  • 135 Euro/person
  • Extra day costs 35 Euro/person/day.
  • Discount: Every 25 participant - 1 person is free. (25 +1 free of charge).

Participation fee includes:

  • Accomodation in 4**** hotel in triple and quadriple rooms
  • Participation in the event
  • 3 times (buffet) meal
  • If members want to stay double room ,they must paid 10 Euro/person/day extra, if there will be any single room the group must pay in addition 12 Euro/person/day

Participation fee does not include:

  • Transportation (From the Airport to Marmaris and back)
